Oh, Dang. I knew they liked Ball but I didn't know it was that much! They should really start Clarkson and Russell and see what they can do together.

I heard that too and wish you can rewind radio. They are starting Nick so they can see JC next to a traditional SG.

Really interesting. I like JC at SG more. And I wish we could see a starting line up of DAR and JC actually.

Jc. Locked up at $15m per season with no defense and no playmaking.

I agree. It's not the first I've heard that take. Jorge Sedano said the same thing a few weeks ago, but it seems the Lakers are really, really enamored with Lonzo Ball. I'm not sure I'd trade our young guys to go get him, but we'll see what happens.

If they're experimenting to get Ball, then I'd definitely rather see Clarkson and Russell playing next to each other. That way you can see which of them plays better off the ball and move from there.

Crazy though. I'm not sure he knows he was breaking some rumor mill stuff there.

Ireland breaking it again: the young guys are auditioning. Magic and Pelinka are going to reshape the roster as early as next year. Ireland says he wouldn't be surprised if SEVEN or EIGHT guys are NOT on this roster next year.

Holy cow. @RandleROFY cue up that Birdman rubbing his hands together gif.

I'm intreged but also scared if that's true.

And I'm hoping Deng and/or Mozgov is included.

All I know is if they're doing major roster reconstruction this offseason, this is how they need to treat Jeanie anytime she tries to get involved...

yeah, i continue to be QUITE concerned about the recent purge.

i'm not necessarily against a hard look at what we're doing, but there are degrees...

    7 or 8?
    Nick
    Ennis
    Brewer
    Robinson
    Metta

That's five, and it includes none of the core.

I'm not surprised. I've said a few times I expect at least one of young core to be gone next year. Maybe more.

I do scratch my head a bit at the thought of trading them for Ball. If we are blowing up the roster I want to see some vets who are ready to go out and really turn us around.

I'm good with us making deals but I'd be disappointed if we just end up with another rookie we have to wait to develop.

I'm also still SMH at benching Russell and continuing with the negatives on him. If we want to trade him we should be singing his praises and pumping him up.

I know; we're doing such an awesome job developing lottery talent...it's clearly not the system that's broken.

I was thinking the exact same thing. We've shown little to no ability to nurture young players.

What should the organization do to help nurture these young players?
