It's weird he wouldn't look to Magic more as the role model in that regard. Lord knows nobody partied harder than Magic in LA, but he knew that the product you put on the court was more important than anything else.

You're right. If he keeps going like this, he'll look up in Indiana or Milwaukee or Detroit wondering what the **** just happened and why the parties are so much different over there.

Bet you Kenso doesn't care about any of the message Luke's giving and know's why DAR and Lotus Flower weren't in there ..... but definitely is paying attention to the the reporting style and accuracy of the messenger. :giggle:

I really don't get all the excuse making by some people and this is coming for someone like me who was very high on D'Angelo and thought he had the potential to be a great player in this league.

He's not playing well. No aggression or assertiveness. Lazy defensively. Going through the motions. His efficiency overall leaves a lot to be desired. He's shooting below 40 percent. That's terrible. He doesn't deserve to be playing more then he has. I don't really what the numbers say. Wins are what matters and we aren't winning enough games in part because our supposed most skilled player isn't playing consistent.

...that's why we're making excuses. It's clear that someone sabotaged him with inept psychology skills.

    c'mon man. really?

yes, and again, russell consistently takes the floor with randle, black/mozgov, and ingram/deng. that's where spacing and assists go to die. probably killed him watching booker score 25 points without ever having to face a defender in the first half tonight.

russell's got flaws, but he's easily the team's best player. it's sad, but it's true.

Patience is one thing, but I saw very little from him today that changes my mind about him being a punk kid that needs to go.

Took him 20 shots to get 21 points. I'm sure some fan after today will say, "Oh you wanted him to shoot more well here you go!" and to that I say "shut up". Anyone watching that game could see Russell doesn't give a flying **** what happens on the court right now or what he's doing with the ball. I'm getting very, very tired of being patient with a kid who deserves very, very little patience.

I highly doubt we trade Russell so it really is going to be between being patient and being upset every other night.

Guys relax, maybe he's not even 100% have patience. We're not used to losing seasons like these, but these is the norm for a lot of teams sometimes it takes several years. All our guys are very very young. Some are late bloomers, look at Kyle and billups

I think we're used to it by now. We are sucking for four years straight...if that's not the new normal I dunno what is.
