Even if he doesn't have big stat games, not a lot players can hit those kind of shots.

You can score 30ppg on free throws, but I'll take the kid that can hit those tough shots and in the clutch moments.

    That's star power right there.

He got us going early, hit that three in Curry's face and nailed that momentum killing dagger in Klay's.

He's been solid so far, albeit sometimes too lazy with the ball but I hope he takes the next step and becomes our go to down the stretch.

He's playing lower MPG this season, believe it or not, but his per 36 numbers are showing HUGE gains:

    15/16 vs. 16/17
    16.8 Points 22.0
    4.2 Assists 6.1

That's the kind of jump you're looking for if you want a young dude to break out. I know the FG% is down, and the 3pt% is down just a touch right now, but his jump in FT% shows that he has the touch. He's going to be f***ing good.

Might not be as explosive as a Bledsoe.. but he has a lot of size/length on him and should use it to his advantage on both sides of the ball.

Even on awful shooting nights he still seems to manage to hit big shots in the 4th in the clutch and make some nice plays. Sloppy turnovers remain, but hopefully that irons out with time. Also made some nice defensive plays and I do like how he uses his size as an advantage to grab some rebounds.

bad overall game but redeemed himself in the last 4 minutes. Booker's greatness is bad for him, Dlo needs to forget proving who is better and do what he does best, finding his spots and facilitate. It's like Mudiay when facing DAR, Mudiay's game game go to s*** trying to prove he's better :D

His shot is really off right now. Even in the games he scored well, he didn't hit the midrange like he did in summer league.

Bit those clutch threes though, 2 in the GSW game and 1 in the 4th today. Hopefully he rediscovers his shooting rhythm soon.

He needs to mix it up , play off ball more , more postups ... too many missed shots from the same spots ...

You can't average the most FGA on the team and shoot such a poor FG% , you just can't ...

His shooting needs to improve, but he definitely seems to make the clutch plays when we need him, in this game he had the 4th quarter 3, strip and assist to Young when it was a tight game, getting the offensive foul out of Booker etc.

booker's successes on few plays made russell press a bit, as someone else said. poor game in many ways from him last night, but he made those three really big plays down the stretch, which was a good sign. some guys might have packed it in after the night he had. or tried to compound the heroball antics from earlier in the game. lots of maturity from randle, russell, and ingram on display lately.

Yeah. He struggled last night but I also liked that he came through when we needed it most. That's been a recurring thing out there this year. Guys make mistakes or play poorly but keep playing hard.

Not worried it at all. I know Russell can shoot it's just a matter of time before the shots start falling. The fact that he's still impacting the games is a good sign.
