It was just an observation compared to other superstar PG's.

It's like having a son that wants to get into Harvard. His GPA for his freshman year is 3.2. His report card for the 1st quarter of his sophmore year came back as a 3.0 GPA. You look at the GPA scale of recent Harvard admissions and the average GPA in the sophmore year is 3.8 to 4.1. You tell your son that he'd better pick it up if he wants to get in.

    Is that panicking? No.
Is that hate? No, quite the opposite.
Is that arbitrary? I don't think so.

Yes, there are other ways to become a superstar PG. It just becomes highly unlikely if Russell doesn't break out by Year 2.

So, back to what's actually happening on the court...

The faster pace is how Luke wants to play and it is advantageous to our team.

We can score in transition or create early offense. It makes the game easier...

Once zubac gains more confidence he can be our go to big when we play half court also dlo and randle got some good post moves. So we eventually can play fast and half court

Once we start hitting threes at a rate closer to what most guys do for their career, we could be even better - adding a couple more PPG. We're 9th in the league in PPG, but we're shooting 8th worst on threes.

Zubac can actually run the floor pretty well for his size. He's honestly the perfect center for a small ball team with his fundamentals.

If GS can do it with Slowgut, imagine a developed Zubac.

I guess the low 3P% is mostly due to our second unit. Calderon is back, and JC/ingram will likely snap out of their slump soon.

The numbers definitely look good for us moving forward. Our shooters will start nailing those shots and then who knows what this team can do.

thanks, rrofy; i suspected that the lakers had been shanking wide open shots, and the stats bear that out. gotta expect that to trend up.

That was a big trey on Thompson's mug to stem the Warrior momentum in the third... He is not pouting or complaining on the bench when Williams and Clarkson were on the floor the end of the third and most of the fourth. Celebrating with Young...dumping water on Randle's head afterwards...composed on the ESPN post game on court interview.

That three was huge. Really helped us get back on track as the Warriors were pulling themselves back into the game

That 3rd quarter was EXCELLENT. Very in-control, I thought.

Yeah he did have a really good quick draw 3 off Curry but that one you guys are talking about off Thompson .... holy crap. Big time move and Curry esque speed firing the shot. You could see Klay shaking his head with a smile at Russell after he drilled it.
