    Yep. Improved D. Deadly O.

All he needs now is his teammates catching up to him and we have a chance...

This Russell kid is pretty good when his shot is falling and playing under control. I mean I haven't even heard that other guy who was drafted right after him's name for quite a while now. Seems like we made the right pick.

In a couple years when we start figuring things out, it's going to be Russell's team.

If this is what D'Angelo meant by saying he wanted to "dominate," I like it.

Yeah, Fish mentioned it too. No need to broadcast that stuff. Keep the goals and what motivates you private.

Then again ..... keep playing good D and the turnovers down and shooting like that .... and do whatever the hell you want, DAR.

I understand his mindset. When I've had personal goals I'm really focused on, I'll tell people. That holds me accountable. If it's kept private, it allows me a way out.

I thieved these stats below from bonkers on LG. Seems like last year with Boron handicapping DAR with his crap offense, coaching and all other things Boron, that Mudiay sometimes was able to outplay him and seemed to revel in it.

Through 3 pre-season games this year with a real coach for DAR:

    D'angelo Russell:
    19.3 PPG
    2.3 RPG
    3.7 APG
    2.3 SPG
    53.7% FG
    47.1% 3PT
    65.1 TS%
    3.7 TOV
    26.7 MPG

    Emmanuel Mudiay
    8.3 PPG
    4.0 RPG
    5.0 APG
    0.7 SPG
    29.4% FG
    9.1% 3PT
    33.7 TS%
    3.3 TOV
    24.5 MPG

    That is just insane:

    2.3 SPG
    53.7% FG
    47.1% 3PT
    26.7 MPG

And he DOES move and shoot a lot like Curry. Some of the curls and baseline drive-n-stops where almost identical.

And it includes the stinker 1st game.

I do think, however, that Lou doesn't help...

I am seriously not getting all the Lou dissatisfaction around here. He's a great 6th man in the league or wherever the hell Luke wants to best use him. But his skill is putting points on the board and drawing fouls without being a disgusting flopper. Personally I'm glad Lou is still on the team. Nick too if Luke can bring out the best in him until we can get something of value for him. Both on team friendly contracts.
