The Beard is an abomination, no doubt, but that's no excuse for Russell's s#%t-locks (to paraphrase The Nutty Professor)

So I was watching PTI today, and surprisingly they did a bit on Russ. Surprising because it's summer league, and Wilbon has disdain for talking about pre-season, let alone summer league. But hey, ESPN gotta get that hate in when they can. Wilbon was spouting such utter nonsense I had to record and post this, and title it what I did. Yes Wilbon, Russ doesn't work, that's why his arms are quite a bit bigger, and we've seen videos of him in the gym all summer, like I believe Worthy or someone pointed out, instead of off on vacation somewhere in the Bahamas. At least Bob Ryan was level headed as usual.

Wilbon and Byron must be really, really, really tight.

Wilbon takes unpopular stance and gets attention. Wilbon...mission accomplished.

Jesus Christ. Wilbon has gone off the deep end. DId Russel rat him out too? Sleep with his wife? He said the DUMBEST crap about Russell when we drafted Ingram....he was talking about how does Russell fit in with Clarkson, Randle and Ingram? I mean I'm not even the biggest D'Angelo fan and don't think he'll be a superstar....but man the hate he's getting from WILBON in particular is totally unwarranted. I also do not get Wilbon's obsession with backing up Byron....God. I'm upset now.

LOL. Wilbon is clearly an f-head... You wonder sometimes if these journalists really believe what they say, know what is really going on or just talking out of their behinds.

I didn't listen to the post game last night from Jesse Mermuy's, but I think what Bob said at the beginning of of the video was taken out of context, but I could be wrong.

Edit. Ok. Went back and watched the post game. I understand what Bob is talking about now. The truly special talents who have such a gift for scoring and facilitating struggle with finding a balance at times. I don't think its a big deal though. He will be fine.

I used to like Wilbon. He always seemed thoughtful, but it seems like ALL the espn personalities are subscribing to the shock journalism crap. They all like to say things they know will miss off people rather than just report facts. I know their rating are dipping. I know I don't watch it anywhere close to as much.

Wilbon has always been a closet racist, conniving, Jordan ball juggling, dirtbag. I loathe all these media scum bags. When Westbrook treats them like sewer water, I sit back and enjoy it with all of my joy. I despise the media. Almost all of them are back stabbing piece of s***.

As maddening as this was be to hear from Wilbon's mouth, I know he and Tom Penn are not cut from the same cloth.

All I read yesterday were articles about how Russell was too good on offense and needed to tone it down. Like its a bad thing?

Jesus, the media has been so critical of him it's blasphemous and undeserved. Kobe's gone now they need a new monkey to toss around the crap with.
