    I mean sure I HOPE D'Angelo is a future MVP candidate. :D

I just would rather go in cautiously optimistic than hoping for that kind of production. I've been pretty consistent about that though. When we've discussed what D'Angelo's numbers should be next season I've been very careful not to expect too much. I like him, but he's got a ton to prove before we can really hope or count on Steph Curry-esque growth out of him.

Russell depending on his attitude will not have to worry about minutes...at least he won't have to deal with being yanked in and out of the starting line-up. So far this offseason, he's taken on more responsibility being more serious about rounding his game as well as his physical development. Now all of that will have to be translated on the floor.

i'm really excited to see him in SL. I actually think it's better that he'll be running the show with Ingram this summer without Clarkson and Randle. There's no question who is leading the offense in these upcoming games so it will help him get into that mindset.

I really hope since Russ and Ingram will play in the Summer League they will hit the floor running by the seasons' start. I know that is REALLY wishful thinking.

i don't think that's overly wishful. these are 2 very heady players whose games should complement each other very well. i'm trying to temper my expectations, but it would not surprise me one bit to see them start the season playing very well off each other.

I think THAT is the money maker right there. That could be the part that puts these kids over the top.

I don't see how that's wishful thinking. It should be expected. Russell and Ingram should have no problems coexisting and they'll be one of the top duos in the league in three or four years. What should be the expectation.

Russell can play off ball at times, he did it in college. Byron was an extremist with his ways, the kid didn't know what to do exactly and was thinking too much. Just let him go and learn, he is a natural playmaker.

Kid is looking like he hit the weights. I hope his legs are keeping up!

I'm coining the "Uprising" for us and he can be the one that leads the way.

Just going to post that. He looks fantastic. Legs are the foundation, though. Squats and deadlift, Russell.

Our real MVP should be Tim. Russell and Clarkson are getting after it. The work he did with Randle. Ingram, you're next.

Our team really needs a scorer and D'Angelo is the most gifted among the youngsters in this regard.
