Byron is starting Lou and Nance in place of DAR and Randle tonight...

Was he just benched? Because he's started every game, and he has played the third most minutes on the team. I'm confused.

Lou as a point guard when all he does is score score score (or be a blackhole in the offense). So we got Kobe & Lou chucking shots tonight in the starting lineup, over DAR who's seen improvement the last couple of games.

    GENIUS!!!

I now truly dislike Byron. I can't understand this development at all. Repeat AT ALL! He's been playing well.

The argument Laker beat writers are giving out is that while this is a mind-boggling move, it actually works out accidentally. Getting Russell away from Kobe is important to his individual development.

Sure. So bench Kobe or stagger their minutes. Sitting a kid that's been developing well AND is the future of the franchise? UN-F***ING-ACCEPTABLE. Someone get this MORON away from my franchise!

So if we keep Byron, Russell and Randle are definitely going to hate coming back to this team.

He also had a bucket waved off bc of Sacre - he didn't play poorly at all.

    Why.....
Why play him with Huertas. All that development out the window. And I'm sure Byron isn't gonna explain to him what he needs to do.

Sacre does what he does while on the court. Goal tending Russ' made basket and then getting us to turn it over on a bad pick he set early in the 4th.

D'Angelo said he thought Nick or someone else to run the floor with him would come off the bench with him but instead he was playing off the ball. "Playing off the ball is just something I have to get used to. If that's what coach wants I'll do it."

    NO BYRON, NO

Haven't we tried the off ball experiment already? Holy hell.

Anyone who doesn't think Russ can be the leader of the team someday... at least he's not afraid to call people or things out:

Agreed Russ. Why I'm excited about next year

Genius move, lets not only bring Russ off the bench but lets play him with Huertas/metta/randle/sacre

    1. Huertas needs the ball to be effective. You are making either him or Russ a spot up shooter, something they are not. Huertas is so bad defensively, if he isn't creating, there is literally no point for him to be on the floor.

    2. You surround two pgs, guys that like to run the pick and roll, with non-shooters like metta/randle/sacre, giving them no space to operate and create.

Oh snap! Love it. Rookie has more balls than the coach.
