keep your hand plenty far from his face after you feel you're in his head. imagine the split second loss of focus wondering " is he going to hit me in the face again this time?" oh, and I don't mean a sight graze like bowen or battier. I mean like a mildly substantial high five to the face, lol.

This guy is an idiot. He could have gotten hurt? He could have gotten hurt in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd quarter WHY PLAY HIM THEN?

Yea you don't play vets on championship teams in the 4th. Rookies, however, should get the green light to play whenever. Got damn this dude is so stupid.

    Byron also doesn't seem to
    - understand how to communicate with the media
    - realize you shouldn't say everything that pops in your head
    - possess even a basic grasp of how he comes across to other people.

He operates in a complete bubble with no awareness of what is happening around him.

The only reason I watch this team right now are the young guys, especially Russell. It's like Boron intentionally wants to be hated.

    I'll play Devil's advocate here.

Russell did tweak his ankle in the last game, so it's understandable why Byron or Vitti would be cautious.

Unfortunately, the way Byron explained it is asinine. I never liked Mike Brown much, but he was smart enough to say "Ask Gary about it" if reporters asked questions about a player's health. Byron has almost zero media savvy. He's gotten away with it coaching in small markets. He can't get away with it in LA.

yeah, the implicit message is actually good: he's worried about how things would go if Russell were injured. people forget Byron is actually trying to win. he just sucks at it.

then again, starting two rookies and a second year player who really only played half a season is a tough way to get wins.

He's making mistakes? Over and over? Huh? First, I haven't noticed many, he is not a turnover machine that's for sure, and second he's a damn rookie. Making mistakes is how rookies learn. "F*** you, B0ron" pretty much covers it.

You didn't get the memo, Kobe and Lou are the only ones allowed to do whatever the f*** they want without any recourse. Scott must really value the weight of that 6th man trophy.

Can you name one single thing, boron as a coach is good at? Both Mikes look like geniuses next to that moron. I hated MDA but DAR would look like a stud in his system. boron gives us nothing, nada, zilch, f***ing ZERO.
