What I was trying to say was considering nobody, not even the top defenders in the league right now are stopping Curry, I don't expext a rookie to give him any issues. He's going to cleverly use screens like he does, and he's going to break him down off the dribble, and it will be a good learning experience for Russ.

He'll get pulled out of the game immediately.
I would think they would go to Barnes and Curry a lot, Livingston when Lou plays PG for half the game. Byron might go stupid again and not play Hibbert a lot, small ball Bass ftw. This is gonna get ugly.

They want that all time start of season record.

If I were Curry I'd try to go for the record of most 3pts baskets made in a single game tonight... knowing the way we have been defended the 3pts line this season

Yup. This is my principle as a basketball player. It frustrates guys, gets them out of rhythm usually, and tires them out faster.

But D'Angelo might be the only PG in the league thinner than Curry. I'm not sure how physical he can get. It'd be nice if he tried though. I'd be down with that.

What would happen if a defender utilized this tactic? Instead of getting a hand in the face on every shot, actually hit him in the face with an open hand, not hard at all and being careful not to poke the eyes. He'd get called for the foul each time, but after it happening 6-8 times in a row from different defenders, the shooter would be worrying about it the rest of the game.

I actually laughed out loud thinking of defenders tapping curry on the nose every time he shoots it.

He's a video basketball game Superstar. Would just speed up even faster to keep mortal players too far away to do that. Also they program in the Nash algorithms they purchased in the IP deal this summer.

Kobe had good defenders tapping his face fairly regularly. Bowen and Battier did it.

Here's how it's going to go.

Russell will get screened off and Curry will have his way because we don't know what switching or actual rotations look like.

I forgot to mention this! When you watch them live, Bass is basically the same height as Nick Young. Less than an inch taller I'd say, maybe a 1/2 or 3/4 inches taller than Nick.

That's both a testament to Nick's size and an indictment of Bass's stature. He's really not a tall dude, but he's super buff.

But doesn't the ref start anticipating the call and even when you stop hitting him the face he's going to call it.

Not too surprised. Bass looked to be shorter than every Center we've played against even when a team went small

Yeah even when he tries to put a body on a guy, they just reach over the top of him and get the board anyway. It's not his fault. He's an undersized PF, let alone C.
