The comments of people complaining are fantastic.

I know, right? There are other billionaires not giving anything. People that complain about a 100 million dollar donation are miserable worthless human beings who suck at life. They are unhappy with how their lives turned out (likely due to their own stupid decisions) so they try to bring other people who are successful (God forbid) down. Bezos is under no obligation whatsoever to do ANYTHING. Judging by this reaction, he probably should have done nothing since it would have resulted in no one saying anything one way or the other about it.

Nothing would surprise me. They seem to play by different rules, and have intentions of ruling the world.

So apparently, this NYU hydroxychloroquine + azithromycin trial sponsored by Bill Gates is not reliable. Vitamin C is not a placebo. It's an essential vitamin. They should be using a sugar pill for a placebo.

Not sure how I feel about this. On the one hand Dana White should have postponed this without being asked. On the other hand, this whole thing is setting up a VERY, VERY dangerous precedent of the government locking down our lives. I understand this is an extraordinary time and they probably should be doing this, but what about next time? What happens when a bad, but not nearly as deadly bug comes along? I am not a conspiracy theorist whatsoever, but one thing that is abundantly clear from human history is when you give a Government power (for whatever reason) they are unlikely to relinquish it.

The Washington Post, New York Times, MSNBC, and CNN will frame it as, "Trump got lucky that he called this right. This was a lucky guess and all future decisions or comments by Trump should be observed as false. The only reason he was likely able to get this one right was statistically everyone will get something right once in a while, and this was that once."

Fox News will frame it as, "Trump once again proves he is ahead of everyone on the defeat of this virus. We should probably be asking ourselves, 'Why isn't Trump in a lab working on a cure for this virus since he would no doubt be able to make one within a couple hours?' Heavy is the burden that rests on our fearless leader. At some point Trump will likely have to pause fearlessly leading the free world and put on a lab coat to save us all."

Yeah screw all these normal timetables if the science and practical testing are showing ****ing otherwise. These drugs above out in the public pretty much harmlessly for a long time, ..... and then follow what the French professor is giving for dosage. Politically, all these tools in the Media opposed .... what? ..... prefer many more to die needlessly in the meantime? How sick are they?

And same thing with where science and AI and heavy computing are now with around the world cooperation in creating a vaccine. **** as well "18 months" for a vaccine if these trials coming up are successful. See below link. Get something out there. Look at the hideous potential side effects they warn you about every night around dinner time with the TV commercials for "approved" drugs.

It's too damned bad that Kobe Bryant wasn't tasked in December last year somehow, someway .... I know.... impossibly .... to direct what needed to be done for this country with the warnings about covid-19 being sounded as early as they were. Kobe Bryant with a goal and a plan vs having Donald Trump blustering and lying and ineffectively getting our plans A, B and C together plus our supply chain. Kobe would have understood the gravity, listened to the finest minds available and made it his mission in life temporarily to get this country squared away and ready. Or someone really brilliant like Kobe. I'm sure Trump ignored many of them.

I know this is a Yahoo article and they also are "ALL" .... always leaning left. But personally I can't think of any ****ing thing Trump has done well about this crisis. Talk about "late scrambling and petty amateur hour" .... forget all that BS that was thrown at Pelinka and the Lakers last summer and here is what it really looks like. They started getting serious finally in March. Plus Kobe would probably still be alive. Not getting the supply chain in order was inexcusable.

    https://www.yahoo.com/news/thrown-15-years-institutional-learning-211941024.html

Speaking of impossibly hypothesizing about (a) Kobe Bryant in charge of our country's pandemic mitigation effort instead of DT .... I just now read the article all the way to the end and OMG look at the next to last sentence. And what happened with Kobe.

"We have thrown 15 years of institutional learning out the window and are making decisions based on intuition. Pilots can tell you what happens when a crew makes decisions based on intuition rather than what their instruments are telling them. And we continue to push the stick forward..."

The Yahoo article conveniently fails to mention that Trump started the Corona Virus Task Force on January 27th, and banned travel from China on January 31st.

The response to that should be oh .... he really hasn’t been terrible in his leadership with this crisis?

He hasn't been terrible. He hasn't been perfect. He should have banned travel from Europe earlier.

But the Yahoo article implies that he did nothing to mitigate the outbreak until March. That's simply not true.

I find more fault with China, their sock puppet the WHO, the IHME whose predictions have been completely wrong, and NYC mayor Bill DeBlasio who was imploring New Yorkers to go to bars and restaurants in March.
