    I was just reading this off Twitter, that sounds nuts. What was Arenas thinking? And why couldn't he pay a lousy $1,000 to a young player making wayyyyy less than him?

    Amazing. A bright comet in the league after Kobe's debut by years and likewise long gone years before him. That's what 20 years in the league as a force to be reckoned with looks like in comparison.

    Finally read that account of the incident that Caron wrote. Wow. Also did not know what kind of background he had come from. Sounds as tough or worse with the mean streets of the neighborhood as Artest had in his youth.
