We would have lost this game in regulation if not for Melo. He's met above and beyond everyone's expectations so far. Offensively he can be semi reliable but man defensively and in rebounding he just cannot contribute
Melo was Staples Melo, which is almost always a very good thing. That corner 3 during the waning desperation minutes was impressive But Frank can't play him 43 minutes. Only two Kings played more than that and they're kids. Not sure if he'll have his legs back for Detroit. Gotta get DJ or Dwight a few more minutes when Melo's creep up like that That was the most he's played since December15th 2017
Well, that's too bad. Nunn looked great on paper, but got injured without even being able to show his skills. Who knows when he's going to be back. Melo on the other hand has been truly excellent for us.
Who would've thought that he wouldn't have anything in the tank after playing a zillion minutes in the last one
Efficient. Realized the 3 wasn't dropping and they couldn't do much to stop him closer to the basket. 4th leading scorer. Good job Frank, only 19 minutes. I know he's probably tempted to give him another 40 minute game with Bron out, but I really hope he resists that urge and keeps it down for awhile. The engine is close to over heating and we are just now entering December.
he's our only forward after lebron, really. i get that ariza was supposed to be here, but we needed two arizas instead of two bradley/baze.

Rondo 6'1 Nunn 6'2 Russ 6'3 Monk 6'3 Ellington 6'5 Bazemore 6'5 Even THT and his arms is till only 6'4 That's half a roster of 6'5' and under players!
Whoever tricked him until thinking we were at home last night needs to keep doing it. 21 points with 5 made 3s... that's a huge road game for him.
