So strange that his instincts around tha basket are so bad- usually very athletic players have developed multiple attack methods by the time they have been in the League for a few seasons. Too bad he hasn’t panned out so far because his defensive instincts are really good.
New look couldn't save him from the continuing injury bug. If healthy, he could make a contribution defensively. But he's already hurt and we saw the cliff sized fall off when he wasn't 100%. Not great.
Solid game. Don't see a path unless we're decimated with injuries. Starting PF isn't where I want him though.
still can't get over the fact that his career is about to end because he's basically unplayable on offense. that was not the scouting report coming out. i think he's developed a weird hitch in his shot, too. at least it looked different and bad to me in the preseason.
It's a real shame he's a natural defender - basically has cornerback like hips in terms of ability to switch directions smoothly. You combine that with his size, he's got the talent. But the jumpshot and just instincts on offense are bad. Cam you should not be shooting be pulling up 3's off the dribble - hopefully JJ can work on him
Come on Cam just need to hit open shots and you can finally can get a big contract. Cut to the basket and shoot open shots all you need to do
Time to give him all of Maxs minutes and probably Gabe's. You can see the difference he makes defensively and with the starters he doesn't have to do much on offense. Sucked Dlo, Max, and Vince sucked so bad as the Lakers had good moments despite the blowout score
If he keeps this up then we will have no choice but to play him given how limited the production has been from the rest of our bench. That's the issue though, can he keep this going? The opportunity is certainly there with this group.
i said before the season that hayes, cam, and wood could all salvage their careers if they step up this year. and they will all be in europe if they don't. let's hope it finally clicks for reddish.
November Superstar When healthy, he has a level of defensive energy and athleticism that no other healthy Laker possess. If he can stay healthy, we're already at a point he has to play. If he can't stay healthy, play him until he breaks down again. I stumbled across this SportsCenter poll from 5 years ago. ...WOW.
