Really got under Book's skin. Loved every second of it, especially Book being allergic to physical play, doubles and contact.

I love Cam. There it is. The guy reminds me so much of prime Ariza. Just incredible defensive instincts. Stuff you can't even be taught - just second nature for him. Anticipation, jumping in the passing lanes, cutting off drives, getting around screens, deflections everywhere all game long and good rebounding as well. He's really something.

Wish his J wasn’t awful. He’s got to find some way to consistently not be a negative on offense.

I just cannot wrap my head around how good Reddish is. The chatter around the league is Herb Jones Herb Jones that as a defender and Reddish outjone's him.

I don't think this is just AD behind him as he is way better POA defender then anyone except maybe Vando this year and it clearly shows how the team looks so different with him playing and not.

With an engaged Lebron the Lakers have these two huge wings who could switch everything and have the length to contest on rotation. I simply can't understand how a guy this good just finally found a home

Want to see the defensive splits, but BI and CJ each only had 9 points and were held to 4 made baskets (4/13 & 4/14)

Between him and Vando taking turns on the other team's wings... it's going to be fun to watch.

Honestly can they redo that contract at all? Give him another year and a under the table guarantee?

They literally landed an Aaron Gordon level roleplayer

no. we can use an exception, but i'm guessing given our salary structure we'll only have the mini mle next year. basically the same spot we were in with monk.

if he keeps playing like this, teams will line up with the full mle. our best offer is that we can give him two years at the mini mle with a player option that gives us early bird rights to jump his salary the next year to full MLE levels (same two-year structure), which then leads to us having full bird rights after that.

in theory, he only loses about 5 million on the front end, which could be made up on the back end. but that takes a lot of trust. he is a klutch client, so that's nice. we have a history (kcp) of doing things kind of like this with them.

The Klutch angle is the best thing going in our favor with keeping him.

There should be a Chinese shoe (hey Austin, sign him!) or some kind of endorsement deal that can help offset that difference that he's not going to find elsewhere.

He has been vocal about how he likes the team, the reception, and the winning culture. All we can do is hope that is more valuable to him than more money up front in a worse situation.

Cam had one moment last night, at least, (that I noticed) where he was feeling pretty frisky with his handle “HIM” style and looked great doing it!

I knew he had potential and always wanted us to sign him but he’s exceeded my expectations

So good. Played huge defensive role today. Even hit one of the rare threes.

That 3 solidified my parlay. That's my dude right there.

He was fantastic tonight. I don't care if he ever shoots the ball. Just be a pest out there and disrupt everything the other team is trying to do.

Important quick 5 points in the 4th.

But the headline should be good elite D. 4th best player tonight.

I am just loving Cam. I had low expectations but he's been an absolute monster for us on D. I'm no longer worried about other teams' guards. Put Cam on them and clamp it down.
