Wait so they essentially had a deal in place while Thibadeou was still coaching? Wow that's some messed up ish. Starting to lose more and more respect for that organization.

LOL! You could be right. Donovan and Hoiberg are going to be interesting to watch this season. Thibs always had defensive teams that ranked in the top 5 or so, but it was his offense, his grueling practices, and his players that he had completely worn down throughout the season. Great coach, but he has his flaws.

Hoiberg brings an understanding of a modern NBA offense and principals to the Bulls i.e. creating space, isolating mismatches, tons of screening, etc. He'll bring a unique style. I don't exactly know how the Bulls players will respond to him, but it should be interesting.

Donovan brings the same approach. Although, I think Donovan has more of an understanding the defensive concept. Both of these guys need to learn from Kerr, though. Surround yourself with top notch assistants. Kerr brought in Gentry and transformed that GS offense. Now, they're in the Finals.

Interesting trend in the NBA, though. We'll see how these new NBA coaches work...
