He's becoming more than a 3 and D in case anyone hasn't noticed. About midway through the season they started running him at the PG slot and his handles, feel for the position (contrary to what the book on him and stated by him was early on) and especially his good passing have not disappointed as well as his ability to get to the rim. Excellent quickness, athleticism and strength. He's going to be to guards his size what Pops was to SFs strength wise within a couple more years.

weirdly enough, it's the defense we'll need to see. the g league clips demonstrate he has strength, great hands, and super quick reactions in the upper body. but can he keep nba pgs in front of him? i believe he'll be able to navigate screens due to the strength, but the next play is to just iso and dust him. that happened a few times that i can recall with the varsity. if he can be gpII like on defense, his offense is already ahead of where gpII's is after like, 8 years of development, imo.

Chip off the ol block. Solid all around game.

not sure if he’s starter material or not, but I can see him in a bench role and spot starting if needed eventually .

Needs to watch Gabe and Vando and others who are good with their hands and keep them UP. I sound like a broken record but am amazed everyone on staff and LeBron himself aren't clueing him in that it's part of good defensive basics. Makes offensive player think twice about his passes around him and maybe even some of the blow by attempts.

    Developing nicely.
SAS’s comments are going to look like some of the dumbest of all time once the kid carves out a role on the big club, maybe even as soon as next season.

nah, everyone will just fully switch the narrative to "the lakers manipulated the draft to get a solid role player!" "several teams told me they tried to draft bronny in the first round, but he said he'd go back to school!" ...and various other b*******. there's no accountability in sports media. zero. they won't embarrass each other by unearthing old bad takes because every single one of them lives in the same giant glass house in this regard.

Another thought for me is the similarity of what we were all looking forward to with Gianna Bryant “wanting” to play basketball like Pops and having one of the greatest of all time in Kobe to teach her not only the skills and training regimen needed to succeed but the mental aspects of the game. I was so looking forward to that. In most ways this is very similar in rooting for Bronny and being excited with his obvious rapid improvement curve clearly from the hard work put in.

It’s the age of Zero Patience and lame “Hot Takes” just for ratings.
The thing I don’t understand: how are there that many people out there who tune in to these Talking Heads??
