In 4 years that contract will be pocket change.

Like I said earlier, Im not upset we drafted him. I just don’t think he deserves a 4 year Guaranteed contract and to my knowledge I don’t think any other team like Milwaukee or us earlier with a Giannis brother gave 4 year guaranteed contracts out.

very good comparison and something I would aim for if I was Bronny. Bradley before he got old was a useful player on the bubble team. You can be a below average overall player in the league and still have a good career filling a niche and this is the one I think Bronny has a reasonable chance at.

Hell Avery Bradley from the Bubble year would have been very useful last year against teams like the Kings who killed us with those quick guards (is Vincent back healthy? to guard those guys?)

huh? Lewis is also on a 4 year deal. It's basically the same contract with team option in year 4.

last 2 yrs are team options. im in different to drafting jr but i certainly dont think he "earned" his contract. Wasn't a 5 star recruit and his college tenure was a disaster....Christie n AR didnt get 4yr deals either as rookies

Such a cool polarizing story, it has everything. The Dame of Doom shutting everybody down with calm logic, facts and reason. The always mild mannered Ox ready to body slam us all and Slick acting like he is a Libra ( I mean that as a compliment). I'm just going to sit back and keep my comments to myself...lol.

…I’m sorry but that group was just okay and would have never won a title.

Lonzo is all but out of the league.
Ingram has had his own injury issues and has not gotten to the level of a true number 1.
Randle is solid but the Knicks didn’t miss him.
Half the forum would trade DLO for a high second round pick at this point (I’m only half kidding here unfortunately)

    I do miss Josh Hart.

Bron isn’t my favorite player and won’t ever be on my Laker Mount Rushmore but this longing for the old days before he got here just outright ignores how bad the franchise was back then.

Also, the fan base openly wanted to be rid of guys like DLO and Randle and later on Kuzma and complained just as loudly about our coaching during that period. So, I do not at all believe that everyone (or even a majority) will be happy with 20 something win seasons with young guys who are “fun to watch”

singular. But yes, and everything else that fans want to ignore. It's all part of the package. It's built for Hollywood. And it doesn't mean I love every minute of it.

He can’t make a 3, like at all, he needs to work on that like a LOT. If he can’t shoot he won’t play in the league, he’s an undersized SG, if he can’t play the point he won’t play, just not big enough. Like you can’t be Vando as a guard, you have to have size to be that type of player.
