I'd actually be ok locking him in for longer if we think we have a role for him. He's looking for a home, and I'm sure he wants to play, but we seriously needs some solid vets around.

Haven't heard anything on Bass. Would love to bring him back. Doesn't seem like there's much of a market for Bass. He provides depth at power forward as well as small ball center. Still an excellent rebounds, defender, mid range shooter, and we all know what a great veteran he is to have in the locker room. Just an absolute professional.

I thought I read there were thoughts from some team around $8-9M the 1st year (?). I bet he gets that. He's certainly worth it. We needs hordes of physical big dudes to fight the skilled skinny dudes with no really good center ..... up north.

He'd be a great pickup by GS, but I bet he's looking to maximize the money right now.

The rest of the league and the owners have finally gotten around the "plan" which officially was to kill the Lakers and succeeded. But now here they are again ....Super teams supporting ring chasers' careers in only a couple of cities. There's your parity. Where's the outrage?

Wow.. I actually like the Warriors a lot & can't hate on them for the KD signing, but this made me throw up in my mouth a little..
Not sure I can support this addition.

If this is true, Ray Allen is the most pathetic ring chaser of all time. This was a franchise player at one time, wow, where's your dignity.

There's actually a lot. A lot of people (in the NBA offices included) are pretty upset about this. Not as upset as they'd be if it were the Lakers, but still upset.

This absolutely torpedoes the "small markets can compete" argument.

Can't replace the joy of winning or the opportunity to be on the GREATEST team of all time. I wouldn't be upset with him at all. I think it's pretty dang cool that a team is still after an athlete two years after retirement. I'm sure nothing replaces moments like hitting a game tying 3 in the corner that leads to a championship.
