You keep him because he's the only one who can make plays defensively like Caruso did. It's a no brainer. He's also shooting 40% from 3
no, he was our 15th guy, iirc. we currently have one open spot, actually. i think we'll keep him, but i'm not as sold on his utility as most. his offensive ratings are terrible despite his good shooting (my guess: when nobody guards you at all, you pretty much have to convert like 50% of your threes and be a defensive menace to make up for it; see bowen, bruce). and this is a consistent thing for him over time, with us and elsewhere. for whatever reason, our system/coach brings out his best. but his best is still not very good. overall, his statistical impact has been about like bazemore this year. my eyes (and the coach's decisions) say that bradley's been better, but you can't just discount the fact that he's not helping us win. whatever, though, he's a vet min. the fact that russ and THT actively make us worse for 55 million is worth a lot more scrutiny, but it's too depressing to talk about.
What’s the word on AB? They need to guarantee him for the season. He’s been playing very well and we need his D.
Who else would have a prayer trying to stay with Trae? Make him work Avery and keep shooting well hopefully. You'll sure as **** hear it here if you don't now that you've been guaranteed the full season.
He earned his contract. Turns out when we have an actual wing like Johnson or Ariza, and Bradley is able to defend players his own size and not giants with long wingspans, and just spot up shoot or cut for layups, he’s a pretty good player. I blame Frank for making him look bad playing him out of position.
I agree he guarded players he had no business guarding, but that didn't excuse the 5 out of 6 games he'd have where he was the worst offensive player in the NBA. He's found a great rhythm and has a lot of confidence, I hope we don't see him disappear again. I don't blame Frank. I blame Rob for refusing to give us any f***ing size on the wing until the end of December.
Love me some AB. Sad he couldn't enjoy the championship with the team he was a huge part of. Would be really happy for him if we won this year.
Yeah I was half joking. Bradley earned a lot of the criticism he got from me and others here. But, like I said he also earned his contract being guaranteed and is looking very solid these days, so it worked out in the end.
13 in the first, finishing with 21. That's a nice thank you card to Rob for guaranteeing the deal. He trusts his shot currently, that's big for him. Thought he did really good on Young too. Vogel has a good scheme for him tonight.
He looks like that guy again who was the 3rd best player on the team before he sat out the bubble. Playing Vogels schemes and with James seems to make him play up a level
