i think he looks pretty similar and also pretty good. his athleticism DOES limit his ceiling, but that only matters if you were hoping he'd be a star or something. he's a rotation-quality player for a winning team, imo. one of only a few we employ.
The only reason I want to watch but he gets forgotten in the clutch. Ham needs to put his foot down and let this guy make plays in crunch time. The price I have to pay to watch HBK is to suffer Brick and RatFink
I don't know. He routinely gets rebounds I don't expect him to get, often from up high. So... there is some jumping ability there. He just doesn't use it as often. And he is expanded his skills -- that body check attack he does now - very nice.
It’s great to see his three ball start falling. His shot form has always looked good, it’s looked like they’re gonna go in, but he’s been short a lot like he’s had to adjust to the NBA distance. Added a little strength this summer and they’re finally starting to go in.
16/4/6 and team high +20 mid-4th. Yeah... there were people saying he scrub and only looks good by comparison. One thing though for the next offseason -- ball handling under pressure.
He took over the scoring for a bit until AD came in and closed it out. He was just waving off everyone and scoring, really fun stuff.
