Think how much HK would have learned also from having Caruso on the team to show him the ropes and finer points simply from the couple years experience and playing the game the same right way as he does. Contrast that with can’t think of much he will learn from Russ. Great though that he has Rondo and so many others.
I think he's going to get some playing time. Might not be much, but he's a gamer. Great find by the Lakers.
The more I watch him the more I maintain my comp from the summer -- he should become a slightly smaller Joe Ingles.
that was mine, too. like ingles, he's not very athletic, but he's super crafty and plays within himself. and like lebron said, he's a bit of a dog. that stood out to me in his college film and has translated to the pros.
how bout Gordon Hayward? Ingles is quite big compared to HBK, IF given ample opportunity he could be on Hero lvl IMO
What do you think Cookie? LVBD not exactly going out on a limb here, kinda wishy washy and late to the gate ..... let him on? I'd vote no .... where's he been? , but your call?
This kid is impressive. It’s preseason, yes, but the way he plays shows good habits, super solid on defense, good shooter, but most of all he plays under control. A lot of rookies play scared because the game is too fast, he doesn’t look bothered at all out there, that’s a good sign to me.
I wouldnt' be upset about starting a Rondo, Reaves backcourt while we wait for the injuries to heal up
