Well s***! Ah have me both a them. E- L.A. Times & Print version .... very long read (haven't yet cause I'm a giver and wanted to try to share here first) ....and cool photo of him shooting hoops in the back yard with his Mom who's 6' and a former college player, Nicole Wilkett. I think, college player. But damned if I can find of photo of her on line hooping. Every search and search for photos of her playing days, brought up Austin instead. And damned if have ever seen where I couldn't search on line for the article and typically find it and paste it. Even the E-version .... everything's there photos and all but not able to copy. The rat bleeps! Welp guess will just have to read mahself. Sorry for y'all that can't as looks to be a really nice piece.
He's our starting 2-guard. If he can get a better J he's gonna be averaging 10+ ppg on 45/38/80+ splits. Probably throw in 4 boards and 3 assists with competent D.
agree. to me, you have to pencil him in as the starter no matter how we decide to fill the c spot (with AD or with FA c). he's a glue guy, and our stars need that...badly. they really need two more of him that play other positions.
good read, though i'm not sure it had too much new information. but those in the press who say the lakers' cache is gone, i'm pretty sure that kobe and his success are a reasonable part of why we were able to land this kid.
I agree with this except I think his defense will rate above competent. He was a decent defender last season and should just get better with some added strength and experience. I can't imagine his jump shot didn't get better over the summer. I'm guessing he didn't go months without shooting.
Austin isn't going to start IMO. It depends on the potential trade. If we land Irving, Curry and Harris, Reaves and Johnson aren't going to get the same type of minutes. Walker is going to get a look at PG I suppose. Playing time is going to be tight.
Don't you be scaring me like this @KareemtheGreat33 ! I see an update to the AR's thread, I assume the worst.
