HUGE in the first half. He really wanted that golf membership. Maybe some new clubs. Maybe even valet parking.
Beast man. This is what I was expecting from Reaves coming into the year. When Reaves plays like this, we're goign to be VERY tough to beat. He has to fill the 3rd star role...he HAS to be Manu Ginobili for us to have a chance. He looked every bit the part tonight...keep it up AR!
And he had a fever, chills, congestion and body aches just before the game: the flu. He put up better numbers than Halliburton while playing 7 minutes less than Tyrese. Reminds me of another guy we had in the early part of this century. Get some rest, AR! You most definitely earned it.
It was said above Tyrese yes has that afterburner to blow by defenders, but also that AR is “sneaky” fast and can blow by guys too. Of late, even with that flu in the championship IST game he has been aggressive in trying to do that and has great touch at the rim with english when it’s needed. In fact one of his FIBA teammates …. I think it was maybe Tyrese himself said Austin is “sneaky athletic”. Big agree here including vertical. 35-36” is nothing to sneeze at. But I said it also above that watching AR play in the Suns game after watching Tyrese help beat the Bucks was like barely a drop off in impressiveness, if at all, and AR is even more FUN to watch when he’s got it going. Then by the end of that first half last night against the Pacers and the ways he was scoring while 0-3 for the game, unlike him from 3 point land …. I said in Game Time AR has a “bigger” offensive bag than Tyrese …. (who’s acknowledged to be a budding superstar). I think it’s true and he’s not done yet. He keeps working and getting better. What a joy to watch him play the game!!
