I'm a big fan of Hali but I'm guessing he will link up with Ant somewhere else. But I love the job he's doing with Mikal, they share many similarities as low profile guys, super efficient and hard workers. Curious to see this year's Mikal, after the trade he felt he had to take over but never trained for that, so after an offseason will be interesting to see his development as THE guy. On the same note, Austin showed he's HIM in the playoffs so it will be fun to see him this year. If either develops that "give me the ball" factor, they're a very dangerous pairing
- sounds like the Spurs were close to making him an offer. You don't weight different contract structures for guys you're not serious about. - glad he's focusing on Ham's motto of getting stronger as the season gets longer. Being an 82 gamer + not hitting that stamina wall is really his next unlockable challenge. - another report of PG Reaves, it's real. - more upside than FVV? Hell yeah! - the photos are accurate -- he and Bridges are BFFs. He's close with Johnson too, but who cares about him. Bridges needs to stay in the front of his roladex so he can get him to come to LA.
saw someone tweet something like "now that reaves has continued to look great in the summer, the san antonio spurs would like you to know that they were so close to offering him a contract"
I really need AR to bring Brandon Ingram back home. Still my favorite post Kobe Laker. But, AR, Vando and Rui are growing on me.
I always loved BI, the only guy I bought a Lakers T-Shirt with his name on it. At this point, he would be a solid third option on a team, but not sure I think he has the intensity to be a leader on a championship team. ???? Great offensive player, not even sure what I think about his defense. Don't remember many sequences where his defensive intensity impressed me. ????? Anyone else???? I would rather have AR bring Bridges over!
i love ingram, but his defense has always disappointed me. his offense is probably as good as my most optimistic predictions (maybe better), but his defense is well short. that said, i think with the right #1, he could be a championship caliber #2 offensive option. he's grown as a playmaker, and he can really generate shots, even against good defenses. him, reaves, AD, and a couple guys who can defend and hit standing shots would be tough. i just really like that reaves is connector on and off the court. these guys all love him--and it makes sense, he seems pretty cool, tbh. if we've got him recruiting and AD in the fold, we should be able to compete even post-lebron.
Well, we know that many players would want to play for the Lakers, we do treat our stars well. Non heavy impact players and many youngsters, can end out on the wrong side of that however. Still, gotta think that many of these players would feel like they could be doing a lot worse things for their careers than being on good terms with AR. ??
