The defense on Klay was excellent. Also, using his face to block people was also impressive today. You get hit, you ice it and just continue. Oh yeah.

Reaves is one tough sob, he is fearless, teams try to bully him, he doesn't back down, he seems to play better when it's physical.

I am guessing, for a pasty not-very athletic kid in rural Oklahoma or Arizona, there was no other choice, right?

His handle is so tight and the speed of the crossover and change of pace elite.

It's weird how we define athleticism as only hops. A guy like Bird was labeled as unathletic but that dude was able to run and dribble like an elite PG in. PF size body

Now this is the type of s*** I remember from the Bubble team: such an easy team to root for that we haven't seen since the Brick trade

Bird defied all physical stats when it came to what a basketball player “should be.” He would absolutely dominate fools in today’s game. I see a little bit of him in Austin.

If Dennis paired with DLO at the guard spots is what it's going to be in the starting lineup .... Reaves and Walker there with the bench mob is going to be pretty awesome. Danny can handle some too not to mention score the ball in athletic FUN ways and shoot the 3 some too like Austin.

I know we’re probably starting DLo and Dennis even when LeBron is back but it really should be Reaves. DLo/Reaves/LeBron/Rui/AD. Reaves is the perfect glue guy to play with those other 4. He has the tertiary playmaking and spot up shooting. He can take on some point of attack defensive assignments that DLo can’t handle or some bigger SG matchups like he did with Klay tonight. It’s a no-brainer to me.

Give it up. Darvin's not going to budge on that. But man he has options to cool people off especially with Vandy on the roster now, and yes, Reaves too. Just needs to not let people go off on us. Call time outs and nip those hot streaks in the bud if at all possible.

In the starting lineup, where AD, LeBron and DLo are a wrap, I would argue your priorities are shooting and defense. I think the best combo is then Vando/Beasley as it combines both. A Rui/Reaves gives us scoring and playmaking but less defense.

I think there's many combos that can work. We are in a great position. It will take time to gel but I hope we run 80 to 90% of this crew next season.
I'm fine if Reaves comes from the bench, as long as he's playing more than 25 minutes per game.

Ham thinks he’s Phil Jackson:Laugh:Letting players figure it out of their own or just clueless with no feel for the game.

I think the pairing of Austin and Dlo starting in the back court would be cool, but I don’t think it’s mandatory.

Schroeder has played well and Ham is not going to take him out of the starting lineup unless there’s a really good reason.

I actually liked Malik starting. With time, Bron and DAR will find him more of the curls, which will open the lanes. Neither AR nor Dennis have that kind of capacity.

I did too. I think it makes the most sense. Beasley is the guy who needs the most time out there to get acclimated. Dlo already fits great. DS off the bench is perfect. Reaves can fit anywhere any time so it’s a great luxury for us that we can slot him in off the bench and know he will do good things. Beasley has to get comfortable and having his outside shooting is a dangerous weapon for us.

    :This:

It’s been forever, not even sure who was the last guy we had, that most other teams have, who knows how to run around the court, use picks and wear guys out chasing them …. and then rise up with great elevation and form and good % to bury jumpers.
