he did a credible job in spurts against curry, too--i mean, as much as is possible.

he's not as bad on defense has the rep. i'd like to see him get closer to where he was last year overall. and maybe his slight slippage is due in part to not having our other perimeter defenders for much of the year, too. as pioneer said, it's better when you can slot him in the right spot.

More energy for defense when you're not also expected to the de facto PG on top of your usual role

Reaves never fails to impress me with his clutch instincts down the stretch. Guy is a closer.

Bron should give the ball up, unless he gonna shoot a direct, no dribbling, 3. These he can hit. The rest of the s***? Nah... Give the ball to AR and let him cook.

Thought he was quiet most the night but when he did dial it up in the final minutes and OT, he made them count.

The defense is still lacking but he answered the bell, as always in the 2nd half.

Austin is Buha's first guest on his new pod

If you want to skip the golf and get to the hoops, fast forward to the 29 minute marker

    The bad: Turnovers

The good: everything else. I'm still in shock that OKC needed to run screens to get AR off of SGA.

Austin's D was really impressive tonight. Keep that up! We'll need it against Sacto.

That was one of the sloppiest games I've seen from him in quite awhile. Definitely sloppiest of the season. Only credited with 5 TOs, but I think that's generous. Easily another 4 he fumbled, bobbled or lost and someone recovered. I know OKC is the best in the league at turning you over, but in the previous three against them he had 2 TOs, 1 TO, and 2 TOs so this was not the norm for him in handling their aggression.

He still managed to have some nice dimes (7) when he settled down. Had impressive range and feel on his 3 ball (4-5). And defensively, he did great on SGA. Easily his best effort against the best player he's been assigned to guard. SGA is a strong MVP candidate.

I was so impressed with our guards' defensive play last night. Austin, Dlo and Dinwiddie all did great jobs. I'll give Cam a pass as he obviously isn't back in form yet after missing 14 games. But man, if our guards play like this going forward and we are able to get both Vando and Gabe Vincent back for POA defense I think we're going to have a lot of weapons to throw out there against guards and wings. Our overall team defense was off the hook last night. Super psyched to see it after a very mediocre run on D leading up to this since the ASG.

Another excellent performance from AR tonight. Good shooting and that steal on the inbounds pass to end the third was awesome! Should have been an and one.

Boy Beverley sure showed HIM with his stated mission in life the last game that he was going to follow the great white whale …. errr …. great white hillbilly to the ends of the earth to terrorize him and make him pay for the “too small” insult in front of his “homies”.

How tf can you not call a foul on that play? I bet you a 100$, that if he missed that shot, they would have blown the whistle. Pisses me off to no end :(
