Wish that 3/4 court heave for three at the end of the third would have counted! That was awesome.

In other news, Austin's been great lately. Really embracing his role and delivering.

Best he's looked in a back to back.

    That heave was something else.

pop was going after him and dlo on defense. reaves finally did make a reasonable stop against keldon johnson when they tried to clear out a side, but this is an ongoing concern.

he made a couple shots to stop runs that were important. SA still ended up gaining confidence and almost winning it, but they probably catch us earlier and actually win it if reaves didn't keep them at bay.

He's been outstanding. Put him in any role and he thrives. Love AR. He looks so much better now than he did at the beginning of the season. He's a gamer.

And ..... his handle has slowly and steadily been getting better and more advanced. Sure, still some turnovers off of it but that happens to every "pure" PG. Point is his handle IS improving. The better it gets, the less TOs because of the handles. He drives the key and breaks it down for dishes or gets all the way to the rim often enough to be a threat to get there, or pulls up for buckets and/or fouls with a variety of moves, footwork and shots. Always a threat from deep. Over 42% I think these last 8-9 games.

I don't care if he starts but I want him to play more minutes than D'lo or Prince.

like ginobili, he can start or play off the bench, which is great. i want him out there for about 30mpg (i'll duck tomatoes by agreeing with ham that in big minutes, he looks worse), and i want him closing games.

Not even one comment Austin …. OK I will. That behind the back fast break layup was BEYOND sick and the Mamba himself would have approved how dazzlingly perfectly “executed” it was.

    :Noddingyes:

It blew Bron and AD’s mind you were right in front of. After picking their jaws up they headed into the tunnel to replay it physically themselves in homage.
