Kept telling y’all last season he had hops. He’s not Eagle athletically (one of his BFFs on the team did volunteer he’s “sneaky athletic” though) but that’s kind of exactly how we also started noticing Alex could get UP …. he all of a sudden started coming out of nowhere to jam put backs.

Da hell these people are on (including some here)? AR is usually the only one that boxes out and does the little things. Posting him up is the dumbest crap. It's one game. Look up the other ones.

again, people on the internet were just waiting for reaves to have a bad game. they're still processing that the lakers got a guy better than the majority of their team's last several lotto picks.

so some mean-mugging nobody who scored in a 5-dribble post iso is their new hero.

i highly doubt that nba teams are reconfiguring their offenses to isolate reaves on their bigs for post opportunities right now.

Andre Iguodala: “Austin Reeves is much better than everyone thought. I'm a big fan of his."

Four-time NBA champion Andre Iguodala shared his opinion about the Lakers forward and the US national team Austin Reeves.

“Is he the one? He is Austin Reeves. I really like Austin. We got to know each other a little, got to know each other better.

He is much better than everyone thought. He is a basketball player, a real basketball player, which is why I am a big fan of him ... It doesn’t matter which team he plays for, he will help you win, ”Iguodala said.

But beyond his contributions on the court, Austin Reaves is also a delightful person to be with off of it, according to Iguodala. In fact, the four-time champion cannot wait to spend more time with the Lakers guard on the golf court

I'm starting an Austin for an Alaska camp campaign. We need to learn from the best.

IF Christie checks out as legit best 2 defender on the roster by start of or early in the season and also is able to facilitate “some” and be a threat to generate his own offense “some” and hit pretty well from deep (or whoever else [that’s Big for the position] and best does ALL that) …. when Bron’s out of the lineup for whenever and whatever reasons ….. who says No to some of this “giant small ball option” at times?

    Reaves
    Christie
    Hachimura
    Davis
    Wood

And I don’t want to hear Austin won’t be able to figure out / execute getting the ball up the floor against pressure, and with those guys on the court as well to help. ;)

Have a feeling Austin and his shoe are going to be BIG in China. That's a nice version above with the colors. Very very hopefully these are top of the line type construction for his sake having to play in them. When's anyone here buying a pair?

Pau a bonafide 7 footer making AR look like a shrimp, unlike the way 7 foot gets tossed around these days, and AD forever, who's really 6'10".

so he's going to be tired this next year to start the year

Hopefully Ham limits his minutes so we don't run him into the ground.

we should have enough depth to limit his minutes as necessary, though tbh even last year it seemed we struggled almost as much without him as we did without AD or lebron. this is where i think having both russell and vincent can pay dividends, though. when it was russ and bev (especially), you really didn't have a competent shooter/passer to play when reaves was out.
