I love that they just cut off Erin's arms to make sure he couldn't attack them. He can't bite his own hand to transform if he doesn't have any.

Even more than the fight, I'm looking forward to the conversation between Erin, Yamir, Reiner and Bertold. I hope to get a lot more explanation in the next episode, and I'm hoping it tells us a lot about why they all did what they did.

I expect the first 3/4 of the episode to be talking, and then the fight to start near the end. Then the next week is when Erwin and Micasa and them arrive, and the fight truly begins. I also expect the beast titan to be there as well. No idea who that is as a human, if its a character we already now.

    SPOILER-------------------------------------------------------------

i don't how to do the spoiler thing :/

Anyway, do you think Armored and Colossal (they don't deserve names right now ;)) are in league with that Beat Titan. I mean, I don't think they think they knew about Yamir or that that Scout Squad would come in time. There's no way they could have transformed. They should have died in that tower.

Highlight what you want to hide as a spoiler, then click on that thing that looks like a newspaper or something in the tool bar, like in this picture:

    Spoiler.JPG

Then fill in, what you want the spoiler tag to say before people see what's inside :Noddingyes:

About the Armored and Colossal titan, you might be right, and they might not even know the Beast titan at all. I hadn't even considered that they didn't now about Yamir, but you're right.

Reiner became suspicious, and Yamir looked like she was about to kill him for finding out before the castle got attacked.

I new this episode would be mostly cryptic explanations, but they really didn't explain anything.

But I bet I know who the Beast Titan is...

    Erin's father.

Think about it. He was a scientist that had the secret to the titans in the basement before the attack. He left just before the attack on Erin's town. And there's never been any mention of what happened to him.

Is Ymir actually helping them out, or is she just playing them? That a good one though. Usually the no action, flashback ones are tough to handle.

It was a really good episode with little action. I don't know what Yamir's doing yet. I can't even tell if she's turned traitor or not.

But from her flashbacks, I want to know if:

She was taken off the streets and worshiped to fill in for Krista, who had disappeared at the time.

Good lord this episode was insane. So much happened in such a short amount of time.

When that Titan bit Erwin's arm, and Erwin continued to shout advance and lead the squad...

Then when Reiner started chucking Titans like grenades..

Then Erin and Mikassa meeting the Titan that ate his mother...

SOOOOOOO MANY Great scenes. This show is so incredible!!

Season 4 episode 21 anyone? I mean holy s***, top tier anime almost never fails to deliver just ridiculous epicness near the end. That was insane, I have no idea what to expect now.

I'm super into it, and somehow against all odds I managed to get my wife into it. But she will not watch it with subtitles, so we have been waiting to start Part 2 of season 4. This show is the quintessential, "No idea where it's going" at almost all times. I have never been able to predict the show with any sort of certainty (or accuracy). I wish we could get this type of storytelling here in America. Instead we get meandering, non-committal story telling that stretches concepts that could be told in 30 minutes into entire Disney+ show seasons. (Disney+ is a totally random example, I swear ;) )

Well, at least you got your wife to watch it at all, I almost always prefer anime in Japanese with English subtitles, but I get it I guess. But yeah, a lot of anime is silly, but it’s supposed to be, you have to get and be a fan of the humor. I see why that gives it a bad rep for being lame or nerdy, but if most people could look beyond that there are some of the best shows of all time in anime, not some of the best animated, some of the best period. I can’t say if you’ll like where this ending is going, I’m not even sure I do, but it’s no question epic and they are swinging for the fences. Some anime do that and kind of get caught up in trying to be so big and epic that it falls flat, but a lot succeed and I still appreciate them going for it.
