I dont remember when I joined CL .. it was a lifetime ago. Literally.. I was an office worker back then and cared about my post count. Now life is too hectic. And I'm rarely in the country. I have followed my Lakers with much disdain. Being away from LA .. and them sucking makes it hard to justify staying up late and paying for the League pass. I will be living on the east coast soon and that's exactly what I will be doing next year. I remember all you hooligans... good times. I remember my ex wife. Saying .. it's just the internet.. she didnt understand.. that's why shes my EX wife ... good peeps. Glad.we found a way to keep the community together. I'll try to pop in a little more. P.S. ^similar here. i used to post constantly at CL, i still remember coming home from school and writing articles for the home page (including a review of Kwame Brown's performance in his first pre-season game and how he could turn his career around with the Lakers LOL), thinking what a big deal it was when i hit 10k posts. i'm out of the country a lot as well and just not as much free time nowadays. definitely want to try to come around here more often as the community is so great. reddit is a nightmarish hellscape by comparison.

If that's you, glad to have you on board even more, always enjoyed your takes! The numerous new members in general are making their presence felt and for the most part have been great. I signed up at club lakers I think in 2006 when we were rumored in the jermaine o’neale and kg trade. I think I searched lakers trade news or rumors and ended up in CL. Didn’t post much, but lurked for so many years until the community moved here in 2014 (?). Damn, now that I think of it, I’ve been lurking for 13 years. Lmaooo
That's me. Same name everywhere. I think I get more ornery at LG because everyone has such a hard a** view. I prefer a milder approach but not sure it's sustainable on a sports forum. LOL. My humble opinion is that Rome was not built in a day and it is all about the journey. I tend to forgive mistakes until I perceive them as systemic and they continue. I suspect something bad happened between Magic and Jeannie. Not even sure it's obvious what really happened, we may not know for years. Looks like the team is moving forward, I hope Pelinka is up to the challenge and can overcome the rumored problems he faces. Hell, I hope Rambis ends out being a great adviser snd/or PBO. If they aren't, I hope Jeannie recognizes it and replaces them without a prolonged cluster fk. I am looking forward to simply seeing Lebron and Davis play together. It's going to be awesome.
