It's better, and due to the long term-nature of the this site and previous site (Clublakers) that shut down and migrated the members over here, a lot of us have known each other for 15 years. You don't get the random people making an account and screwing with people knowing they can just make a different one and come back as a new person, ya know, the hallmark of Reddit. Except one guy... We won't talk about that one guy... That one guy who thought he'd fake his own death... That guy...
This. I can’t believe LB has been here since 2014 already, and I’ve been talking Lakers basketball with a lot of you here since 2006 (some here have known eachother since like 2003 too), that’s wild. We were mediocre at that time, we made it back to the top, we were the worst we’ve ever been for a few year, and now we’re on the way back to the top again, what a ride.
That’s how I found CL. Googled “Ron Artest trade rumors Lakers”, CL was a top result because of that thread. That thread took until 2009 to come true.
All this CL chat is classic. I still sometimes accidentally start typing clubla... in my browser when I'm trying go to lakersball. Big thanks to Barnstable for keeping this home up and running, and all the Mods for all the work you put in. This site is a million times better than Cl ever was.
Man, I was thinking about that the other day too. I joined CL while in law school... I think it was 2007 or 2008. I can't remember. I think it was when Pau was traded for Kwame Brown. I can't believe I've been debating and celebrating with you guys for over 10 years! When I heard AD was going down, I typed the Lakersball URL fully expecting the site to have crashed! On CL, you knew a big deal went down went the site crashed! LOL!

It was the same for me...on CL in 2005...but I only have 50 or so messages on LB. I'm gonna be a rookie forever. We need new tags...under 100 messages with multi-year LB tenure is "Shady Lurker"
They only mentioned that there was an Insider with connections that doesn’t work for AEG that has reliable info. They mentioned Reddit, but not LB unfortunately. If you heard it you would recognize the description. I think those media folks come to LB to check around.
Did they relay any of the information that Rambis has discussed on here? If so, what did they mention?
