Oooh...good idea for lunch tomorrow but maybe I'll wait a little bit more. There was one play where Davis took the ball away from three Nuggs, turned and made a short bunny shot. Never seems to be in a hurry with his moves. Still not comfy with him taking treys but we'll take it when he cans them.

That is my personal view. I still believe the regular season is still important for chemistry, seedings and building up interest for the post season (look at the Clippers who completely disrespected it). I just feel that some players are built for only the regular season as they get by on athleticism and speed (Westbrook) or get by playing with FTs (Harden). When the playoffs come around, the pressure increases, soft FT calls decrease, basketball IQ is even more valuable, and across a 7 game series teams can break you down physically and mentally.

Harden and Westbrook are still terrific basketballers, but they've wasted a lot of development (and highlight reels) in areas that will not win them a title.

Some games, i’m reminded that Anthony frickin’ Davis is a Laker, and I feel like I have to pinch myself. This was one of those games.

look, gaiz. in 2034, we can look back and determine whether getting a 26 year old top five nba player was a smart idea. until then, let's think about jaxson hayes' abilities as a backup center.

I forgot.... who was that guy arguing we'd have to wait 5 years to see who won the trade?

    SentientMeat I think it was...

On topic: It was quite heads up of Davis to draw the fifth foul on Jokic earning three at the stripe.

Gosh I guess we'll have to see what the Pelicans 2025 first round pick is going to be to determine who won this trade!

    Lulz.

AD is a fricking beast and he seems to be getting better each round. It's not like Millsap/Jokic/Plumlee are scrubs on defense either...

If anyone ever questions if it's worth it to trade for a 26 year old superstar in his prime....you'll see these hands.

I love the references to last summer's debates. I still can't believe we had to argue that we gave up too much for this guy. We didn't need to wait and see what happened to determine if we won the trade. It was obvious from the start and still is now and forever.

i mean, had we been able to keep one more pick, obviously, it's a win, but....

Ludabrow got screwed out of a DPOY. Lebron got screwed out of an MVP. Take it out on the Nuggets, get to the finals, defeat the evil empire or the cHeat and get that championship.
