Should be trying to get another big yesterday to help take some of the bumps off of AD. The longer you wait the more the team is putting on his body come playoff time.
AD listed as "questionable" 24 hrs before game time. I wonder if the thinking is: we have the Cavs in here on NYE, and the Kings just canned their coach, with Mike Malone already saying it was a "no class" move: may as well let the chips fall and see to what degree Koloko can contain Sabonis? Lebron's gonna have to play more 5. I have a bad feeling about this game.
I feel like AD has taken the Sabonis matchup kind of personal this year. He hasn’t been getting punked by him like he had in past years, in fact tonight I would say he dominated him. I know he was in foul trouble and only played 26 mins to AD’s 36, but still, I see no hesitation from AD when he was in front of him, he went right at him.
Davis (ankle) is out for Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers, Dave McMenamin of ESPN.com reports. Is it possible injury or just b******* load management because they play b2b
lol, we do this load management stuff all wrong, man. we weren't going to beat cleveland even if he had a brand new ankle installed pre-game. sit then. we could definitely drop one to portland without our best player.
the league would be smart to eliminate back to backs completely. people buy tickets to watch star players and with back to backs these days, you're guaranteed to have at least one guy sitting
Lakers actually have pretty crazy schedule in January and early February. They will play every other day or back to back for total of 21 games before All Star weekend. So JJ is probably right
You ever had plantar fasciitis and tried to walk comfortably let alone play pro basketball at his level? Nothing to do with tired but you know that. I know I know ... you're not serious. (maybe) Hence old, tired etc.
