Gasol played when load management wasn't introduced to the league. He averaged 68 games per season Davis 63 with all load management and injuries,so that's actually is b*******,and Pau was one of my favorite players in NBA history
The average NBA player misses 18% of his games throughout his career. 2013 - 64/82 - 78% 2014 - 67/82 - 83% 2015 - 68/82 - 83% 2016 - 61/82 - 74% 2017 - 75/82 - 91% 2018 - 75/82 - 91% 2019 - 56/73 - 77% (AD held out intentionally before trade deadline for 9 games) 2020 - 62/71 - 87% So it's only 2021 when he was injured because of no rest after bubble season AD's career without 2021 anomaly season due to no off season rest - 83% of games played
yeah, i've tried to make this point in the past, but you know, mr. glass and all. jaren jackson jr., never ridiculed for health issues:
The “Mr Glass” narrative is just false. I too was upset the following two seasons off the Bubble Chip over how many games AD missed, but the dude doesn’t deserve it. Does he fall down a lot and not get back on defense enough? Sure, but he’s still the second best two way big in the game and I will be bummed if he asks out after we move on from LeBron.
No love for the 40? The return from the stinger and saved us from a loss? 12 points in the final 9 minutes. Fouled out JJJ. He really does like going up against those who have undeservingly gotten DPOY consideration over him. Love to see it.
I think it’s just hard for most to get excited about this current team. That being said, without AD, this group would be unwatchable.
i'm just glad we didn't get the "why doesn't he do this every night" after he did the thing only one other person has done all year.
When his shoulder got hurt somehow did anyone else rewind the footage several times trying to figure out how it happened and still be not sure? It was the left shoulder but "seemed" like closest proximity to any kind of contact was the right shoulder. Then again I was looked for some kind of torquing of it, but JSM saying "stinger" is that just quick hard contact in the exact wrong place?
AD had 37 I believe with 6 minutes left in the 4 th then we watched Bron and Austin bricked outside shots for 3 mins without AD touching the ball ..
I did. It was really strange, it was the opposite shoulder from contact. Only assessment i could make by guess work was it was while wrestling with Edey in the paint, a contrasting pulling motion did something to aggravate it.
Spectacular effort from AD tonight 21 and 20 plus 6 blocks and 3 steals. Shooting percentage wasn’t the best but who cares with a game like that.
Beastly line, even with this bull s*** Loved the effort. He was everywhere. Battled well against his arch nemesis.
Wtf Davis briefly left Thursday's game against Sacramento with what was initially reported as a left shoulder injury. He managed to return and finish the game . Davis has now been diagnosed with a left elbow contusion.
