Right. Seems like such a no brainer but after watching multiple coaches not do it (especially Ham and co), I have to credit JJ for not overthinking things and actively trying to get the ball to his best player.
This is probably the biggest change I've seen under Redick, and it's exactly what he said he would do - get AD more involved on offense. It's a beautiful thing to see. AD is peaking right now, playing some of the best B-ball we've seen from him and it's good to have a coaching staff who truly values that. I hope AD can stay healthy again like last year because the way he's playing and the coaching staff is making sure he gets the ball, we have a chance to win it all.
How dumb of a coach do tou have to be to not know you should be setting up AD to score as much as possible!?!? SMH
Apparently the same amount of dumb that leads you to play Prince more than Giannis, Lillard, or anyone else on the team.
Continues to feast. They had no answer for him. It went off the rails with that 4 guard lineup + him in the 2nd Q and it never fully got back to the level of humiliation we witnessed in the first Q. The plan Good company considering how unstoppable Shaq was at that time.
Goal: Don’t lose two in a row Next day: Lose two in a row great start to the season this is what we all thought he was capable of and were frustrated and he wasn’t doing it
