Now that AD has a coach who understands what a big advantage he has down low, we will see more nights like these from The Brow. I really can’t believe just how dumb Ham was.
i've been calling for us to feature AD more on offense since he got here, so i'm glad to see it actually happening. that said, i think it's probably a little more complicated than that. like when phx was in their dantoni heyday, i think their record was tied to marion's success. imo, this was because when other things went well, marion ate. but had they just fed marion, they'd have lost every game, tbh. this situation isn't exactly like that, but AD probably does get a few "marion" buckets that often result from simply bad defense from the opposition or great offense that ends in the hands of the guy closest to the hoop. anyway, again, i'm good with the general spirit of the stat--we need to remember that AD is a top-tier offensive option and act like it. both ham and vogel always just went for the lebron security blanket when the offense sputtered (which was almost always, lol). even jj kind of went to lebron a bit too much in the second half of the minny game, imo. but at least jj was going to the lebron/AD pick and roll mostly instead of the lebron iso. tl;dr: i think that stat will equalize more as we use AD more. and that's ok. we should still do it.
Yeah great read. It's the same with the stat that we had more wins when Kobe shot less and more losses when he shot more. It happened because when others were hitting their shots Kobe would pass it more and everybody ate. But when the team struggled, he always took it on himself and tried singlehandedly overturn the game, some times with success, leading to more shots.
Pretty well done commercial. At least the trophy itself being named the NBA CUP sounds better than In Season Tournament and better than (wasn't it for a bit being called the) Emirates Cup?
Maybe. Till a bad offensive game under 18 for @KareemtheGreat33 And it'll be "Street Clothes" from a mob here his first next s*** happens injury no matter that he's been an iron man for almost 2 years and including the Olympics.
missed this. these aren't even the most creative plays i saw run for AD, as they're all basically just having dlo set a soft back screen so he can iso from a better spot. it's incredibly sad that that's still an improvement over what we did for nearly four years. i finally saw some screens in the lane for him to come weak to strong, etc. how this occurred to nobody before now is beyond me.
LOL saw this from ocho on LG .... actually LeBron and Bronny were NOT the first to do it. "Anthony Davis and Rudy Gobert is the first father-son to ever to play on an NBA court at the same time"
He’s ready to go this season and has come out of the gate hot. If he has another year of good health we will be okay.
