Yes. I think we have no chance against Denver. Maybe if we had a fully healthy Vando, it could have been a series.
Who the f*** is that Craig Cardon: « Anthony Davis – the most overrated superstar in NBA history » The host of the sports show, Craig Cardon, criticized Anthony Davis. «Anthony Davis – the most overrated superstar in history NBA. You can’t rely on him, he is always injured. Not worth your money. I use the word that others will be afraid of, « soft ». Does not play through pain. And you cannot count on him if you definitely need to win the match. Something happens to him all the time. And that bothered me the most. When they released their Top 75 NBA players rating and put it there, it infuriated me », – the host said.
i'm still trying to figure out what davis did to alienate basically all fans and media. to me, he's one of the most unselfish modern superstars, and he's definitely one of the best players i've seen play. but go on and worship devin booker or some stupid s***.
LOL he got a look at Lakersball and saw what the Lakers’ own fans were saying about him though. Do you blame him? Being called “mediocre” and such.
He's a big, in general they're not as exciting or "sexy" to the media as flashy guards. He's not charismatic or funny. He's not overly chatty with the media if they're not asking him the question, he's not asking to go on Inside or ESPN to shoot the s*** during his off-season. He's private and he's not active on social media (as Kareem said).
After AD saw that I wrote Giannis castrated him, he said never again…so I take credit for his improved performance against the Freak
Really liked his volume from the jump last night against NO -- 10 attempts in the 1st Q. The easy oops and lobs over the top are going to be there. hopefully there are no lingering issues with the back. NO doesn't have the size or mobility to stop him. Jonas doesn't have the foot speed. If he's going to play to muck it up, they have to slow us down. In the two games we were locked in and treated like it was do or die, IST-semi and last night, there was no place for him in the game.
AD obviously has dealt with injury woes over the previous few years, but to claim he’s been soft this season, is just down right stupidity. I’ve been proud of watching him fight through stuff this season that in previous ones, would have had him miss games. My respect for AD has grown this season. I actually think we could beat Denver in a series if AD and LeBron were in Beast mode throughout, we play defense like we did against NOLA, we hit a high percentage of our threes, and one of DLo/Austin/Rui have a big night in each game, and Ham never tries the stupid three guard lineups. It’s a lot to ask, but that’s what it’s going to take in order to take down Denver.
totally weird to me. again, how many times does a dpoy have to get played off the court in the playoffs for defensive reasons before you reconsider your stance?
DPOY awards are linked to the team's defensive ratings . Voters usually pick the best/most notorious defender of one the top 2 defensive teams of the regular season ( or not worse than top 4 since 11-12).
You guys should know by now that these awards are Extremely biased, popularity contests, that rarely are awarded to the correct player. It’s lame, but if you put no weight to them, you get over it quickly. I could go off on my Kobe MVP rant again, but you’ve already heard it before.
