Yep defense was great but you need one of AD or Lebron to have a good game on offense. AD got good looks sigh move on
i actually liked both the three attempts. wide open and would have been huge. last one he missed rattled out. he had a bad game. no need to say dumb stuff that isn't true because you're mad.
not worthy of "star" status nothing untrue of that, one bad gm one good gm doesnt matter how open he was, he's been a terrible 3pt shooter, making that 1 3 was more surprising than expected
Yeah can’t be too upset about AD’s three point attempts. One of the misses was in the exact spot he just made it, the other wasn’t necessarily a shot I’d like him to take but he was open and we were running out of time. Can’t be too selective. But yeah, we simply can’t afford him to shoot that poorly from the field. If he’s not feeling it, I’d honestly rather he stop shooting and have one of those 3/5 FGA games where he just focuses on defense then keep trying to force it
i'm the first (and only, i think) to defend the low FGA games, but tonight i thought the shots were there. and he took them. he just missed like, all of them. nightmare shooting night. and they weren't even way off, either. i bet he can't sleep after this one. he knows if he plays even ok on offense, we win comfortably.
But, @abeer3 that the essence of why we complain about his offense. It's something every other time. Sometimes it's being passive on O and monster on D. Sometimes it's this. The fact remains -- he is an unreliable offensive player, which means that our team building around him is going to be that much harder.
he's really not, though. a shooting night like this from him is super rare. again, i understand low FGA games from bigs due to how teams are playing them. especially bigs who aren't shooters. he averages 26 a game. the narratives simply can't be true about him being wildly inconsistent. he'd have to go for 50 every third game.
