all that, and i agree that the officials should be watching a lot more closely tonight, which favors us. they can't stop AD without fouling on every play.
Remember box score watching AD when he was still with NOP and he’d somewhat often get 17-18 fts? Now, as a laker, it’s really rare.
Draymond has been dirty all series. He reminds me of when Kobe would play against Bruce Bowen. Bruce was dirty and got away with a lot because he was known as a defensive player. Draymond is known for defense and being fired up. Refs are giving him too much freedom.
I fully expect Draymond “inadvertently” hit referee in the head and finally get 2 T , flagrant 2 and go to his podcast early
it's very much true how they say the guys who yap a lot get a lot more leeway with the refs compared to the quiet ones. draymond could threaten to kill a ref's family and tackle a guy and the only thing he'd be called for is a common foul
Good offense in the first half. Dominated the glass. Handled the defense. Is that good enough for a borderline concussed AD for SAS, Shaq, Chuck, and Kenny?
Defensive beast, he had almost half our boards by himself. Helping everywhere on defense too, amazing playoffs so far.
There were moments where I wished we went to him more on offense, but looking back on it I think we picked and chose his spots just fine. The offense was flowing, so forcing it in to AD just for the sake of getting him touches wouldn’t necessarily be a great idea Felt a little bit like his Game 6 performance against Memphis, didn’t need to be a big scorer because he absolutely dominated the game defensively and on the boards
Rodmanesque on the glass tonight: got a ton of contested boards that were offensive rebounds for the Warriors other game. He is having one of the greatest defensive playoffs run in history right now
people have said it but the defensive boards were huge last night. huge. he was pulling down stuff that gs basically gameplanned to to get. lebron was great back there, too. offensively, we forgot about him a little, but when he got it, i thought he delivered, and as usual gs's whole defense was geared toward slowing him down, so things opened up for other guys. lebron's getting single coverage on drives and post ups in two series now. that's also huge.
