Looking at that play I think AD just fell asleep. They had to know ahead of time they were switching screens. If there was confusion about that at this stage we have bigger problems. I think going forward with these same situations I would have AD harassing the guy throwing the ball in and Rui chasing. He gets that momentum built up and can't stop...lol. They never should have even got a shot off.
guess i'm inclined to believe that one of the best defensive players literally in nba history isn't stupid and didn't just fall asleep and rather his description of a miscommunication is probably accurate?
player of the month? oh wait, he just had a hot month. *checks notes* oh wait, he did that the entire season. btw, we had a winning record minus lebron (and for a good chunk minus russell, too) down the stretch--because we finally had some guys that could help make AD's life easier on both ends. take notes, front office. this can work.
Luckily it didn’t cost us the win. But it’s really bad look to foul a three point shooter in the last 10 seconds again after only a few weeks. it means he isn’t paying attention to crucial details.
MONSTER game, SEVEN blocks, 3 steals, 12 boards, 22 points. If he can play even close to that going forward we are dangerous.
Kobe would have never let the competition know he was hurt if he could help it. Feels silly to broadcast you can't feel your arm and be fine the whole 2nd half. But saying that, he was +27 and a complete game changer when he was in the game just for his defense. 22/12/3/3/7 10/17 shooting, and hallelujah no 3's. Nice job
Glad the arm was just a stinger. Toyed with them offensively early then switched to dominating them defensively
Good Lord ..how the mood went from doom and gloom, to straight euphoria in this game. AD is a baller..he'll give you a mini heart attack tho, when he hits the floor or bangs into someone. Lol..hell of a defensive performance today.
