maybe our fragile roster will surprise us with a strong showing I'd imagine AD, bron, and DAR will all be doubtful for tomorrow
100%. it's the most legit criticism i've seen lobbed at him this year. if i'm the opposition, i strongly consider intentionally fouling him in close games, the pattern is that well-established. we've discussed it before, but his ft seems to follow his jumper, which seems to improve with distance from last time he sat for a long stretch. he admitted himself that his confidence in the jumper takes a while to get back, and i think that's in his mind when he's taking the important fts. wonder if the team psychologist has worked on this with him.
i assume every team does by now? if not; get one. AD's an 80% ft shooter who shoots 40% in the clutch. he's more likely to hit a fadeaway over a double team in crunch time than to sink a ft.
that AD block that was erroneously called a goaltend was vicious. edit: the block in the 4th on the dunk attempt by agbaji that was called a foul was also just ultimate b*******. like, do you have eyes?
Pathetic showing tonight from both AD and Lebron our leaders. 4 for 12 and outscored and outplayed by J Landale, a third string center I’ve never seen before nor heard of. Just weak sauce.
And he looked disinterested all game long. And he was the biggest guy on the court and barely worked for half of those boards. I'm one of the loudest AD supporters here but his effort along with Lebron's was awful tonight. They both should have sat. Horrible attitude. And no excuse to get completely outworked by a third string dude we've never even heard of. Tonight was the worst game I've seen from our leaders since the deadline. Bad time to stop caring.
i only saw the second half but landale didn't so much against AD there. i did once again see us not running actions to get him free, which was something i thought we were done with from a coaching standpoint. think i remember one (1) little pin down for him that went nowhere, and otherwise it was roll man or afterthought.
Moves at the deadline were made for the purpose to allow AD and Bron to sleepwalk through some games and still win . It's a nice luxury to have
AD's kryptonite If we get them in a series, Bismack Mutombo is definitely getting one of those Troy Hudson contracts this summer.
one of the rare players who's strong enough AND moves his feet well enough to bother AD. but part of that is AD not getting up for that matchup. if he did, bismack's toast.
well, again, he is injured. like lebron, he's playing on a bad foot and has been for a while. i don't think that was the reason for his lackluster game last night. still haven't seen the first half (where he was 1-6 from the floor and must have looked worse than what i saw), so i can't speak on that part. but second half he looked to be moving around ok to me.
It’s no explanation for some nights giving maximum effort and others giving minimum. He was great on the boards, though.
