Damn.. 3 straight awful possessions for Davis to lose the game.. I don't know why we are still inbounding to him for clutch fts. Ugly.
gets night off against Hou and this is what we get? shameful, you can build WITH him but certainly not building AROUND him
Raise your hand if you KNEW AD would miss at least 1 of those 2 FTs. That was a devastating loss. I now will be amazed if they do anything after 82. If they make it, that is.
We're all down on AD now, and for good reason. Let's face it: for some reason there are games where he brings it and he's an absolute beast. For whatever reason, he doesn't show up as a beast some games. This was one, and we desperately needed this game. All-around? I love AD. But if there's anyone in the league who doesn't have Mamba Mentality, it's him. Hope he enjoyed sitting against HOU. Damn...
This was a terrible loss. Before anybody just looks at his stats and says they look good, watch the actual game. The missed free throws, fouling a 3 point shooter and being in no man’s land defensively on the last shot were the worst parts of the game but disappearing for large chunks of it need to be brought up also. Gabriel was playing better defense than AD overall this game for god’s sake’s. So glad he rested the game against Houston, another one we might have won if he could possibly learn how to play a seasons worth of games instead of being in street clothes. I personally can’t image how you build a team for the future around AD. Do you get an inflatable AD to fill in for the large amount time he’s hurt? Do you go to Oz and find him a heart? Sure he’s one of the best when engaged but that doesn’t happen enough IMO. Having to ask for fire and heart from someone of AD’s stature is embarrassing.
Can you believe Lebron is better in the clutch at the line than AD? Never would have expected this Free Throw Percentage on the Season AD 80% LeBron 76% Last 5 minutes of a two-point or closer game Free Throw Percentage AD 61% LeBron 75% Last 2 minutes of a two-point or closer game AD 44% LeBron 88% https://www.nba.com/stats/players/c...0612747&PointDiff=2&ClutchTime=Last+2+Minutes
He just chokes from there. The team HAS to stop giving him the ball in ft situations. It’s literally anyone but him now.
If it was AD, I’d be pissed. If he had shown the kinda of fight and passion during the WHOLE game, we might have won.
That broken whiteboard reflects this team mentality, very childish. Leave it all out there, dont go back behind closed doors and destroy things.
