    1-5 from the FT line? the whole team shot under 60%. ny went 17-21 and outscored us by 7 from the FT line in a 4 point loss.

    So we have NO and HOU on road BTBs: will AD have to have a "calf soreness" (feel free to make up your own injury) monitored for one of those?

    If so, play him against NO and figure we can maybe take HOU w/o him?

    Oh, and one more quick one and I'll take my answer off the air: will the Lakers ever reach .500? Thanks for taking my call.

    I listened to a lot of those games on the radio through the armed forces services. Staticky old transistor radio but I listened anyway. That was a magical time.

    Great game. I was hoping we could rest him the 4th quarter but oh well. We will see if he plays in the back to back.

    Was sneaky in flirting with a 40/20



    His 1st Q was loud, but after that it was almost a quiet big game (not saying AD didn't show up), nature of a blowout I guess... that's a foreign concept for a Lakers team



    Ham just confirmed that AD is sitting tomorrow

    Many of those games were ONLY on the radio. That is how Chick Hearn became so famous!! Listening to him call a game on the radio was almost better than watching the game on TV. When the games were on, we would play them silent and listen to Chick call the game on the radio.
