He was so utterly dominant tonight on defense. He's a monster!!! He brought it all home and we are so lucky to have him and Lebron together. This is going to be a heck of a pair for the next few years.
Watched on delay and have been catching up reading all the great posts plus the last of the Game Time commentary. Loved this. Suck it Ainge. Suck it ESPN and Lakers haters everywhere. KareemtheGreat33: AD s Dad the real MVP for crapping on Ainge and the Cbags
This guy is still on thin ice, yeah, he won us a title, like, in his 1st year but what about next season?
That plus/minus at center is ridiculous, I wonder if AD really hates playing center or just giving the opponent a sporting chance.
For anyone thinking to the slightest of possibility that he will leave: AD said it's amazing to win it in his 'first year' as a Laker pretty much sums it up. He was also on Quinn Cook's IG live and said they are running it back next season. He ain't leaving... but he's gonna milk as much money as possible. And part of this is also Rich Paul's doing. AD wants to force the Lakers to continue improving. I think this was what was wrong about LeBron's early Cleveland days where if he had someone like Rich Paul to force the franchise to continue improving, LeBron would have won much sooner there. Now AD is forcing the Lakers... get better and I will re-sign. Lakers will be even better next season.
i always expected him to play a lot of center in the playoffs. i think he just wants to play pf primarily so that he's not wrestling with jokic and valanciunas and nurkic and other behemoths for 30 games a year. makes sense. dirk, pau, kg, even td all played a lot of pf but often played center for long stretches in the playoffs (or just to close halves in the regular season). honestly, i'm surprised more teams don't have standing alternate starting lineups, given how popular smallball is becoming. AD could start at center without concern against like, 60% of the league, i think. what if the lakers had just run him at center all series long against miami and houston? sweeps. couldn't do that against denver, though.
Came across this. Pretty dope - PlaybookProducts.com - https://playbookproducts.com/search?q=lakers+2020
Not enough dog in him.... Too injury prone.... Can only fill the stat sheet in an irrelevant market... His numbers do not affect the game... Doesn't make any of his team mates better....
Can we just all agree that there is no way Anthony Davis is leaving this blessed, perfect situation for him and therefore also agree to ignore/tune-out any speculation to the contrary?
That won't stop the media trying to destroy his on court relationship/friendship with Bron long-term.
