I mean 61/55/100 is just insane. He gets a high percentage of our touches too. Combine that Offensive efficiency with being the best Defender on the floor & that's lethal. Would really like to see AD get this MVP.
every Laker fan needs to watch these videos. AD is basically KG 2.0 on defense every night, and can look like Hakeem on offense when he needs to. AD is slowly becoming the perfect basketball player and some ppls responses to being up 3-1 in the finals is: "AD needs to be more aggressive". Please. Put the phone down and watch some basketball. This is beautiful stuff we're witnessing.
Consistency is still an issue for AD. One night, he can look like the most complete basketballer that ever lived, and is unguardable and unstoppable (and has no legit rival in his position). However, 1 or 2 games later, he looks like a good player in the league as that level can drop a little. When he gets that assertiveness and consistency in his game, it's a wrap for the rest of the league.
He's already doing those things and we're about to go 16-4 in the playoffs. It's already a wrap. We don't need to talk about it in the future tense. Championship, now.
AD's statement that they work on defense every day in practice: so nice to hear, and you can tell. people scoffed all year because we're missing a couple things on offense, but we played team d pretty consistently, and that's a testament to everyone involved.
LOL. Why are we winning it exactly? Spo made Frank his you-know-what. And we got HUGE games from both Bron and AD. And we still lost to Jimmy Bum and a character from a teen movie.
Because we're the better team, and they had everything going for them this game. AD injury, plus very unlikely shots. It won't happen in game 6.
I can never tell if AD is ok or not but he was limping throughout the game so hopefully he has enough to get us one win Sunday.
Hopefully he does. He needs to tough it out, because this is such a huge opportunity for him. He can't miss it.
I created an account just because I need to get this out. At least one time a game he gets hurt leaving a 5 on 4 break against us. Typically, we burn a timeout and he returns. That "injury" cost us how many points, and we lost by how many?
He was a shell after that he hurt his heel. Kuddos to him for gutting it out but looked really hobbled at the end of the game
That was a b******* call him at the end: he went pretty damn close to straight up. The refs didn't have the guts to respect verticality
I actually thought he looked ok through the 2nd and 3rd...I think he re-re-aggrevated in that one play in the 4th that involved KCP and Crowder(I think). Couldn't exactly tell because the camera panned over so quick.
If he doesn’t heal up we are in deep trouble. We just saw what happens when he’s not right, Butler can’t be stopped.
