    Foul trouble took him out...never got traction at all. Did not look for his shot much before the hard doubles came. He'll be there on Game 4. No choice.

    If Davis had a pedestrian game, we would have pulled this. I'm sure he's aware of this and he'll come out with force Tuesday.

    i like the confidence. i wonder if some of the butler chatter lit a fire under the stars. butler's irrationally confident, which is often really useful to athletes (see: stephen jackson), but can become problematic at times (see: stephen jackson).

    Well, AD knows he had one of his worst games, not only in the playoffs, but in general. The chance of him repeating that is very low. But I watched Bron's press conference as well, and he talked about early turnovers and how he takes full responsibility for them. It ruined our rhythm completely, but he said something like: "I know that can't happen, I know what needs to be done and I will make sure I play much better on Tuesday."

    I trust them and I think they'll be ready.

    yeah, they turned the ball over once a minute to start the game, and that was sort of the game, tbh. both AD and lebron were part of that, and i don't expect a repeat at any point in the series.

    We keep talking about the first quarter turnovers. I know it creates momentum and confidence issues. But we had a 91-89 lead. Why didn’t we close it out? Simple. Because we didn’t play Butler well and he picked us apart. We let them easily screen off Bron and then back KCP, Kuz, and Alex down. He got whatever shot he wanted to close the game. And we chucked some bad 3s rather than forcing AD to fight for post position and screen-rolls for Bron to drive. Ridiculous defense. And iso chucking offense for the last 5 minutes.

    Proof aliens walk the earth and are shape shifters. One just took over Lebron’s body but the give away is Lebron would never say something like that. Must have happened right after he walked off the floor early in the tunnel.

    i think he's received the message that last game wasn't good enough, and i think he'll play better.

    i also think the lakers will send some footage to the league and ask if they want to foul guys out/flop a couple times on butler backdowns to see if this is a new rule that works for both sides.

    right. that's why i was hoping they'd sent footage to the league. essentially fouling out AD on some ticky tackery altered the course of the series.
