No. That moron was serious and stumbling all over himself at the end of the halftime show with dumb shots at first AD and then Lebron about not having that uber competitive killer mind set like MJ and Kobe. Just his usual Lakers dissing, the p***k!
It wasn’t just the halftime show, it was postgame too! Inside the NBA crew interviewed AD after his shot and Barkley’s first question is “What is it about you that some nights you aren’t aggressive?” What a clown!
Speaking of commentary ... someone PLEASE tell me we’re not stuck with Reggie Miller and Chris Webber on the TNT broadcast for the entire series! Some of my least favorite announcers. Ridiculous how they spent so much time memeing about Caruso.
I forget who but a Laker hit a huge 3 pointer and they couldn't be bothered to interrupt some inane banter they had going on to call the damn play .... it just went unmentioned.
THAT BOY DANGEROUS AD man...mothafreakin AD. He's clearly our MVP and if we go further and win it all...I'm fairly certain he's going to be finals mvp.
AD had 31. the young core, combined, AVERAGE over 45. so, we would have won by like, 15, had we just stayed the course. plus, we'd have some late first round draft picks, which are gold and never outperformed by undrafted FAs.
We've got some time before this becomes a real issue and maybe he'll figure it out by then. But I do worry about our post Bron era with AD. Davis was asked during his Inside interview about not aggressive enough (poor timing on that question from Chuck, following a game winner) and he said sometimes he's not and relies on Bron to push him. He said Rondo pushes him to. Saying he needs 50 from him, etc. When Bron and 'Do retire, who's going to be that guy for him? It didn't have to come from a star, but it helps when it's someone who's earned their opinion. So when we look for AD's Robin, I think having that quality about him will be vital. Unfortunately there's fewer and fewer of those guys in today's game. I'm also hoping Rondo will stay on as an assistant when he retires. Won't be the same because it means more coming from someone in the trenches with you, but it'll help.
Agree with the post, but I have a question. (and it's not just for you) When did 'Do become a thing? Has he been called this for a while and I just missed it? I've noticed other calling him this too.
