I don't know how this guy ended up with 30 points! I was so pissed at him for taking mid-range shots but I realized I was being too unfair on him. When AD is playing like a top-five player, we will win the championship easily. He dominated the Warriors in the playoffs in both series. He will need to do that vs the Bucks and Clippers.
And we also wont go 6-31 from 3 again - and we won't let Divencenzo get 17 points...and we won't this and we won't that... see where this can go when we start saying stuff like this? The bucks didn't look lost - we got them out of their game is what happened. We punched them right in the mouth and they didn't know how to react. It was by far the best win of our season.
And AD came up BIG in the 4th - LeBron had done most of the work for quarters 1-3...but AD really turned it up and got some big buckets for us. 30 points in 29 minutes and adjusted to a game where he got in foul trouble early. I love it.
Bucks looked lost because LeBron and the Lakers forced Giannis to take bad shots and made Giannis into a passer - which Giannis can do but isn't elite at. He couldn't find the right pass to make most of the time. Giannis also looked visibly tired last night. He's playing around 30 minutes per game and they are usually low effort games but last night, he played 36 and the Lakers were very aggressive with him. Give credit to the Lakers gameplan. An underlying issue that some have with Khris is that he disappears in big games. Khris wouldn't normally be a max player but because small market teams have trouble filling out their roster, Khris can demand that kind of money. But the Lakers would never pay someone like Khris max dollars. He's an All-Star and very good player but I don't think he'll do well in a Finals series or huge game.
Yeah how about that. He came out of the chute strong and was bouncing AD off of him muscling his way toward the basket. It looked like he was going to be the beast he’s been all year and the Lakers were in for a crappy night again.
Sneaky 30 for how he started. But was huge in the 4th. Two superstars are better than one. He said his teammates reminded him at the half that he's a top 5 player. It showed in that second half.
Damn, no one talking about Anthony Davis? He put up a great game defensively and offensively. Slow start but his midrange was on point and he definitely showed that he and LeBron are the best duo in the NBA!
Absolutely the most potent one two punch in the game. AD has just been superb. Loved those steals today too. He's just so good on both sides of the ball.
He was key in two important games... he didn't fade away when it counted. If he keeps this up during playoffs you won't hear many complaints from me.
You have to beat the best teams. He and LBJ did it twice in a row. I have no problem with losing to random opponents during the regular season but they kept losing to the likely title contenders early on. With these two wins they've taken a leap to the next level. It doesn't matter if they play .500 ball the rest of the way as long as they show they can beat the best teams. Also Bradley's not going to shoot that well most games. But the defense was solid and I felt like they were in control... that was the important thing.
Bradley has been an excellent 3-point shooter for about 4 weeks or so now, right? In terms of the productivity, I'd agree with that. But I don't want to get off-topic in the AD thread; he's been a real treat for me to watch this year.
Bradley has been mostly good since he recovered from his injury. I meant we might have been in trouble without that third option infusion of offense. LBJ has been amazing and AD did his job so no complaints. Need someone to reliably fill that 3rd option void though.
