I know you're being facetious but if we had kept BI, Zo, Hart, our picks and drafted Hayes it would have been a positive outcome. Look at Hayes vs. AD per 36 at 19. https://www.basketball-reference.co...avis&y2=2013&player_id2=davisan02&idx=players You have Zo and Hart for perimeter defense... BI for scoring... Zo for the facilitator... Hayes for the rim protection and offensive rebounds One day someone will believe me that it would have worked. And we still could have signed AD next season anyway. The Pels match up well against the Clippers and have played them better than we have so far. They don't match up well against us because they are weak in the interior. If they sign one of our centers next season they will be very troublesome. And they played the Clippers pretty even without Jrue or Zion so that cancels out PG's absence.
https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/anthony-davis-shot-chart Pretty cool website. Just posting a shot chart.
He better play vs the C Bags. Otherwise his competitiveness has to be questioned as has been his entire career.
He seemed to be moving and celebrating from the bench area just fine, especially when James drew those (questionable) offensive foul calls - springing up and moving demonstratively. The positive side is that role players like Cook, Duds, Caruso, and KCP are getting great minutes and confidence, and even having a good share of failure for learning experiences, that should pay dividends in the playoffs. The wins against OKC and Hou, on the road, are big. Kuzma? A mixed bag, but probably good for him too, especially as he works on defense (without fouling or backpedaling too much). The Cs have no answer for AD. Hope he plays.
:Carusoshaka:He is back !!! Davis (back) will play in Monday's game against Boston, Mike Trudell of the Lakers' official site reports.
Nice. Not soft, after all. Got some well deserved rest, but this is a big game. He has to feel how it is to REALLY be a Laker.
the left corner 3 is a nice spot for him. If a finishing lineup feature Howard I would stick him here on sets when they're not posting him up
Need Davis to play meaningful minutes at C. This is the same test that Gasol had to pass. He took on some punishment and he's one of the best Laker big ever. Hope AD has it in him
Because you ordain it as baptism under fire coming back from a nasty tailbone fall? Seems not the best of plans to me, at least for a lot of time. Probably will get some though since they're small there now I just read. Injuries? PS .... very sorry about your Pops passing recently. https://www.wwe.com/article/wwe-hall-of-famer-rocky-johnson-passes-away
Nice - got some nice rest, our team didn't suffer with him out, and now he should be good to go to wreak havoc on the team that stockpiled assets for 5 years to make a run at him....and failed. Please drop 50 tonight AD. Thanks.
